I can assure you that I am only looking at the reliability value and cooling numbers.
Iām definitely on the side of more points positions, if only purely because for anyone who canāt get into the top twenty, itās kinda, well, less fun.
By having more fighting for points I think it will be fun for more people.
@Der Bayer: Would it be possible to share a list of entrants by requested number? That would at least let people know if their number was duplicated, and which numbers are still free. (I think Iām the only #33, but I saw four or five #13s just now when I was checking, and I may have missed some.)
I have a question, if i would send modified car, do i need be restricted to currently used chassis? Or can i send completely new project?
Sorry for the weak language.
I believe any and all revisions, as long as they conform to the rules in the original post, will be accepted, even if you send a completely new car.
Correct.
I will not make a list of car numbers. Just take a look at the videos, there are enough lists at the end.
Might be a good idea to add an option to brobot to dump all the lists in a .csv.

Barely going yellow here.
Same with mineā¦just barely going yelllow on valves because 5200 redline.
on the contraryā¦IMO i think thatās just extra work that dont really mean anything much
i meanā¦ we dont exactly use the numbers for anything right? weāre just curious?
Letās not start badgering - if itās not trivial for Der Bayer to do, then we can do it ourselves. The numbers are clearly visible in the results pages for the various sessions - itās just a matter of copying them out.
But first, Iām taking a shower.
Didnāt even take *that *much effort, Packbat. Here is the list:

EDIT: Added a cleaner looking list with no repeat of players.
Oof - I should have refreshed the list before hunting through the videos. Thatās very helpful!

I recommend people announce what number they switch to in-thread, so there arenāt more duplicates.
Edit: Apropos of nothing: I notice that the people who kept their number from the first test are almost all faster than new people with the same number in the second test. Guess that shows the power of iteration!
Iām keeping #13. I had it before all of youā¦in 1945 BRC! Yours is way more useful, Packbat, as it shows vacant numbersas well!
@07CobaltGirl: Glad to be of service! Yeah, thatās what I was thinking: make it as easy as possible for people to find a new number they find satisfactory.

Nice one Packbat, youāre like a super resident BRC data nerd!
Hm, both luilakkie and I have number 4 from the first test. I donāt mind budging, but used it because I finish 4th in the previous BRC.
Quit being so redundantly redundant and reiterating everything.
EDIT: On a separate note, with so many cars, is there any way to see more racers during the race? Currently if you get bumped below 35th place you get no information about your car. Now everybody is thinking, āWho cares if youāre that far back?ā but shouldnāt this also be a learning experience? We all want to know how to improve. Is tire wear slowing us down? Is last lap 2 seconds slower than this one or 10 seconds slower? What is our current damage and fuel situation? These things are important to everybody, right? I know itās a lot of work, but I feel it should really be two races based on qualifying if this many are going to be allowed to actually race, because after my 1st error I lost 9 places (somewhere around 38th) and never saw my car again in the list since my motor blew up 10 or so laps later. I actually have no idea what place I was running in when I ended my run. Maybe something to think about for next season?
Quoting to bump near top of a page:
