I noticed that the options for whether you would like to produce a full production vehicle, limited production vehicle or concept car have been replaced with the full production vehicle only in the Lite Campaign. Why is this? I’m assuming it was too complicated for the Kee Engine version? I was thinking, for a later version of the Lite Campaign or the Grand Campaign, you could have a system where you could produce a concept car and build a really small amount of them. It wouldn’t cost you much, but it would have an effect on the Market Size and Awareness of the demographics in which it scores high in.
For example, if it was the late 50’s or early 60’s or whenever super cars begin to become a thing, then you could get a concept super car built quickly and cheaply, then make any changes you might need to make and put it into production. This concept super car would create interest in the super demographic and increase its size and awareness.
I tried and failed to come up with an expression to work out how exactly the concept car would affect these variables, as I’m not a professor in mathematics, but I’ll let you know if I come up with anything. I was thinking something along the lines of; competitiveness - current market size or something (because if a market is already HUGE, you making a concept car won’t make it any more huge) so maybe that helps.
Anyway, hopefully this is something that can be added eventually because I think it will be a cool feature.
Wouldn’t that just be a regular production car with a cap on amount made?
Production cars are sold, concept cars generally aren’t

Yes and no. The concept car would increase the demographic size before you put the car into production, meaning you have a way of increasing the amount of cars you can sell without having to build multiple cars for that demographic. Basically, you build a concept car, sign off the project, that concept car goes to a motor show, the people at said motor show say, “Hey, that’s pretty good,” and then the awareness and size of the market increase rapidly, and you then can make a few small changes to the car, which will only take a couple months, then the car goes into production while interest in the car and its demographic are high, increasing sales.

I see your point… then, couldn’t you just make a preliminary model with a limit on production numbers, say 10 of them, and them sell them with just an orientation of gaining market awareness? True, that doesn’t exist in-game… and it’s not the same as what you say.
That is an option, and likely much easier for the devs to implement. Perhaps that could be an option for later versions of the Lite Campaign, and the Grand Campaign could have concept cars and such. I just think that concept cars are more realistic.
Perhaps if one of the devs see this they could chime in and let us know their thoughts on this.

These options indeed were removed as we did not have the time to properly implement them yet. They’ll be back in the proper campaign, i.e. they won’t be in V2.
