I’m gonna need the tech pool stuff to be cleared up for me a bit… the last round it seems I didn’t use all the points available, even though I used that spreadsheet the host shared and hit the points… maybe there’s something I’m missing or not understanding.

Engine will use 52 TP. Minimum in ANY category is 2. Maximum in ANY category is 10.

Car will use 80 TP. Minimum in ANY category is 2. Maximum in ANY category is 10.

Hope this helps.

And are points taken all at face value or will there be any shenanigans regarding 2x, 3x, or whatever values for certain tech?

It will just used as is (i.e. no what x multiplier shenanigans)

MyRide - The new answer to the ride sharing warfare?

Najib Wan Saifuddin (@najibwansaifuddin)

Kuala Lumpur

Just today the recently formed, Petaling Jaya-based tech startup, MYTec, has recently launched its brand-new application, a ride sharing app known as MyRide. MyRide is a ride sharing app, like its main competitor Grab, but with a focus on the urban market with stringent rules, high quality drivers and a newer vehicle lineup. The launch was announced at an launch event held in Mid Valley Convention Center at Kuala Lumpur, with the press and other media involved with the launch.

At the event, the application promises to be “the next big thing on ride sharing”, and compared its benefits compared to other apps including Grab. Currently two tiers are offered, MyRide Standard for A and B segments with lower fares, and MyRide Plus, a higher end option with more comfortable C and D segment vehicles with higher fares. As usual, all drivers must comply to the current laws imposed by the government in order to join the MyRide family.

Besides that, MyRide also promises better fares and improved benefits for customers, as well as a much better wage structure for drivers. The firm also promises new features including additional ride options and new app features for the service as well. Also, the firm also promised that the first newcomers of the app will get free bonuses within 5 rides as an incentive to attract customers.

ALSO: Hanseung’s upcoming Horizon Slate 9 flagship phone leaked, similar design, yellow pen?

The application is currently only available for users residing in the Klang Valley area, with other locations like Penang Island and Johor Bahru planned for a future release starting from Q4 2018. The founder of the company, Zul Rahman, hopes the new app will replace the blank left by the departure of Uber’s presence earlier this year and hopes for a good start for the new platform.

The application can be downloaded on both iOS and Android platforms for users to try out the new ride-sharing app today. For those who are interested to be a MyRide driver, one can visit the MyRide website and request for a registration form online or by mail.

And yes. The round is open, start your engines!

It seems strange for a post-2010 car to have 5-valve heads, but their use might explain the high specific output for an NA I4.

Frankly I did not even look to see what was common in terms of header/valve combos

Introducing the 2014 Canmo Kestrel Cu. This new generation of Kestrel moves to front wheel drive, and the Cu is a sport flavoured model with copper tinted accents and a peppy turbo 4 making 248hp. I say “sport flavored” as it looks sporty but is actually engineered more for comfort and fuel economy.

The 2.2L is an evolution of it’s powerplant introduced in the late 70s, but has almost been completely rebuilt and turbocharged for a heathly kick of power between 2000-3000rpm. All while getting an average of 26.3mpg. 0-60 comes in a quick but not blistering 6.78mph. Priced at fair $22,300.
