CTC - Car Tycoon Challenge #2 [RESULTS]

A bit of a late one, but my entry is in. Hopefully the market I went for isn’t too saturated already

My entry, the 1965 Lizzott Sebring.
Small car, big 417ci V8 engine.

Ooooh. Nice styling

Thanks, I hope it doesn’t shout GTO too loud…

just the front end :stuck_out_tongue:

Classic Italian style and Eastern Block know how, presenting the Folletto OR

80 minutes to go! Results will be in tomorrow, trump cards will be done today.

… and the doors are closed! Results need a little bit longer than last time, please be patient

Participants

Here you find trump cards of all participants who passed my checks.

Unfortunately one participant has to be disqualified: jhd1124 (Reason: too low material cost ($1013 missing))

The rest of the results will come in tomorrow.

And the winner of the ugliest car of CTC2 is… me. If anyone has any tips for getting more front downforce on a car without putting a sodding great big wing on the bonnet i would be very interested to hear them

Der Bayer, I have sent you a PM with my car and i don’t find it on your list.

I’m sorry, I really didn’t get your PM. Could you please check your outbox if you really sent it to me?

At least it stands out.

Actually it would be cool if there was a poll to see what cars people thought were the best looking.

damn, oh well!

Looking at those trump cards, I already know I’m priced too low and my factory is too small. Guess all I can hope for this time is a profit.

I can already see I’m overpriced compared to 2 very direct competitors. Bit of a shame considering I had lots of room to lower the price, oh well I guess I was just too greedy.

EDIT:
Umm… what’s up with Bonhin break even/max produciton?

The budget car market is saturated. So many budget cars. Considering the market I am aiming for I could have probably charged more for my car.

So far so good, looks like the I have the GT category all for myself

He either set the price or the factory size wrong. I remember someone doing that in the last competition too

Yeah that was me I flipped the numbers in my head. Too bad he priced so low it looks like it would have been a strong contender in the $75-80k range.
