Why do those headlights look like a low-poly 2D texture in these photos? (I know they aren’t!)

For Sale - 1992 Hossack Kingfisher Gran Sport
A rare example of one of the finest imported American sports cars to land on European soil, could be yours for just AM$30,200. Originally retailing for $51000, this fine piece of automotive history is equipped with many features, including a central locking system, a detachable vinyl T-Top, and state-of-the-art driver aids such as TWO TC MODES (Normal and Sport), and ABS.
The Kingfisher packs a hefty punch, being fitted from factory with a 6-speed manual gearbox mated to a 3.4L V6 giving it 205hp in a Front-Engine RWD configuration. Tipping the scales at just a hair over 1100kg, this limited Gran Sport trim is perfect for track days, spirited driving, and a trip to Aldi. Offering a compliant and versatile suspension setup, the Kingfisher corners at speed with ease, and manages the bumps in the road of daily life much better than its heavier, V8-powered, pony-car brothers.

It has been in the possession of DE Klassiker for approx. 1 year, and regular servicing has continued throughout the group’s ownership.
However, regretfully, due to storage concerns, we would like to move on this fine automobile to a new home. Price negotiable upon inspection, please direct inquiries to the PH. no. linked on our website. Pictures attached below.
2017 Phénix Alcyone Targa XS
Status: Used
Price: 30,000
This 2 seater sports lightweight sportcar was one of the most fun rides around at the time. The XS is the entry level trim with a 4 cylinder instead of the normal V6, but still gets under 4.8 seconds acceleration with its 220hp.
The 6-speed manual is incredibly smooth and responsive, while the suspensions makes it pull 1.06gs.
Well maintained, this all-aluminimum targa is well maintained and has stellar reliability on the market for such a sports car.
(sorry about the simple ad, not a lot of time to come up with a great one like most, kudos to all those great used car ads)
Selling my 00’ CBC Carrier SX
I wanted to post my Carrier on this forum cause I don’t want just anyone getting it. This little aluminum death trap has been a source of a lot of memories so now that I HAVE to sell it cause of some new medical reasons, I want someone that would appreciate it, buy it.
Had this for 25 years, and drove it for 25 years, every summer, it sips fuel and gives you a great performance, i’d call it an upgrade to a Miata even! As you would know, it’s the SX model, so it comes with the Inline 5 turbo, and it’s the original motor, so i do suggest getting it checked with the mechanic for the usual leaks and belt wear, I’m sadly not able to myself.
I love this car and sad to see it go, Cause of it, I’m firmly standing on price of 21,600
Also no rust, no dents, it’s been in storage all winters.
A minimalistic yet effective use of the '92 Evade body set - the proportions suggest it’s either the 2.26m or 2.52m wheelbase variants (my best guess is the former), in fastback coupe configuration (due to having a wraparound rear window). Granted, it only has a partially detailed interior (there’s a blank vertical space where the climate and audio controls would’ve been in real life), but it’s better than nothing (if an interior of any kind is non-negotiable).

Damn, I think this is your best design to date. Very nice!
yeah it looks really cool the headlights reminded me of the ones in al rima but this is stable iirc? anyway super impressive lookin car
The '15 Chiltern is an aesthetic masterpiece (which I’m assuming is built on the 2.3m '05 Mercy body set - the same one I used for some QFC55 test mules) that reminds me of Ginetta’s recent front-engined range. Well done!
@AKA_NOBUDDY it’s great to finally see the 2000s CBC Carrier - the predecessor to the current one I reviewed as a QFC55 entry a while back. And it is just as much of a track-ready package as the generations that came before and after it. The problem with the body set it’s based on (the 2.3m 2000 Elise-like mod body) is that it has relatively few morphing options, and only two sizes (where it should really have more - the only other available wheelbase is ~2.8m), but you still did a decent job with it.
It’s the 2.5m body, yes. I’m on Day 7 of designing things in Automation, which is why the interior is pretty empty - I’d call it a win for me, it’s my most “complete” interior so far in the sense that it isn’t a dash hastily slammed in with the rest of the bare chassis visible, thats the case for my other creations so far. That said, I’m open to suggestions for how to improve it - though I’m pretty happy with how it turned out overall, it didn’t even need any tweaking to bring into Beam and be great to drive! It’s very responsive, fun to hustle around the Test Track and Hirochi Raceway. Visually it’s a bit minimalistic yes, but that’s kind of the point. My inspirations visually were the ‘Catfish’ Camaro and Ford Taurus of around that era, though handling-wise it’s more sporty than straight-line-muscle like that Camaro. And the less we talk about the Taurus’ sporting capabilities, the better. Wow, that message got long fast

About the Aero 848
It’s likely some reading this article will assume “848” is a typo; surely, we mean the Aero 850, right?
The 850, named for its weight in Kg, is a roadster from the late 60’s and early 70’s that’s somewhat overshadowed by Aero’s other sports cars; its an alright package, but not particularly exceptional. Among Aero fans, it has a reputation for being almost too lightness-obsessed, at the expense of speed itself.
This, however, is the 850’s rare 6-cylinder edition, created in 1972 to give the model a chance at racing, which even many fans don’t know about. It’s lead design goal was to slot in a larger flat-6 engine, while maintaining the original’s 850kg maximum target weight. To this end, engineers spent countless hours on chassis and interior optimization, ultimately achieving its eponymous 848kg figure.
This is in spite of an addition of features over the base model, like a high-end 8-track player, a sliding fabric top (finally replacing the old detachable), vented brake discs, and an extra transmission gear. This, plus a 6.4s-to-60mph sprint, should have made the car a driver’s dream in its day, right?
Unfortunately, the car proved too expensive to be viable, both in purchase price and ownership costs. It was too steep a jump over the base model for Aero’s usual clients, and the Aero nameplate lacked the prestige to draw in pricier ones. The 848 was discontinued after one year, with exact production numbers unknown but believed to be less than 100. Fortunately for enthusiasts, this anticlimactic end also means they can be had for relatively cheaply given their era, if lightness and uniqueness is something you value.
About this vehicle
This 848’s original documentation for is unfortunately missing, but we believe it was first sold in some country other than the US, then imported some time prior to the mid-1980’s. It was purchased from a resident of Wheeler County, Oregon in 2004 by a collector, who partially restored the vehicle before selling it to another collector in 2013. This owner completed the restoration sometime around 2016, and proceeded to take it infrequently to car shows and trackdays.
Damage from a storm in 2025 caused debris to punch a hole in its roof, among other damage to the owner’s property. They chose to sell it to cover the other repair costs. We are currently repairing the roof, among other miscellaneous defects, and have already included such costs in the final price. We anticipate the vehicle to be in No. 3 condition when these are complete. The previous owner has expressed interest in speaking to whoever buys it, however out of respect to your privacy we’ll leave it to your discretion whether to contact them.
Once the repairs are complete, the car will be available to see during store hours. Until then, feel free to call or email us to inquire further! We are also willing to assist in exporting to other countries (such requests are particularly common for vehicles of this rarity)
