Though I don’t think there will be more intercooler types, as that kind of choice had already been in the game and got deleted.

We used to have clutch-type LSDs. Then that got deleted. And in the same video, Killrob said they’ll be coming back. 
There’s no guarantee we’ll get more intercooler types, but if it does happen, we’ll see something during the LCV 4.2s development cycle.

I’d like to also suggest a top-mounted intercoolers, that means it’s not in front (or behind in rear/mid layout) of the engine, but rather above the engine, which would be practical on some bodies, where the intercooler sometimes protrudes from the car body. A lot of cars use this, like for example the 2000 Nissan X-Trail (2.1DCi engine) has an intercooler mounted above the engine, since the engine bay is quite tight.
