i accept, but pleas choose the champions pick of the seven
I need to do some reverse engineering and figure out how you guys fooled the EPA.
there was alot of no compromise engineering at play.
Yay! Peoples choice again! bows
When the new rules (and challenge) are decided then Iāll make my selection thenā¦
Well done to all.
@JohnWaldock well done sir looks like the right decision was made to step down, all the best for the next rounds.
Edit: If it is OK with John I would like to do a review of the past 3 months events
sounds fine to me

@HighOctaneLove will choose the last rule
Is that engine reliability or average reliability?
average
1/4 mile or 1/2 mile?
1/4 as per
My captainās pick rule isā¦ No NA engines!!! TURBO ONLY!!!
This is brutal but Iām going to keep trying.
What is the deadline @JohnWaldock?
I have added official tracks on at the top posts.
I have also added new rules
Well, that sub 30m braking rule was brutal! FYI I used s/slicks, wide tyres and lots of downforce to reach the sub 30m goalā¦
That being said I present the 2016 Bogliq Scamp!!!
Hereās hoping I can actually win this time!
hey guys please remember that the dragstrips do produce different numbers a 1/4 on willowbank will yield a different time to a 1/4 on the plain strip this is why I ask that a specific track now be selected when selecting the rules for the next round. everyone should make themselves familiar with the new rules in posts 1 & 2
Edit: @one85db what you lack in style you make up for in speed look at the results up the top in every round.
A quick thought from a Madman
What I love is that you can clearly see the evolution of the cars from the first round (which is why Iād rather not open a new thread) And here the competition is getting closer every round slowly inch by inch.
I am also proud of the fact that we are now at round number 7 and have officially been running for over 3 months now and even with myself no longer able to continue with the Racemaster position that someone so quickly stepped up to continue my little Race Series and from what I have been observing both here and across the forums looks to be the right choice to hopefully continue the challenge for another 3 months.
Also I was very humbled by some of the comments you made, this all actually means a little too much to me than it should and having the community get behind the challenge is still my happiest achievement in the Automation World
And a small observation
People are really not yet grasping the idea of building these cars as factory offerings that are not always stripped out racers. We are getting there slowly but[quote=āHighOctaneLove, post:217, topic:15778ā]
Iām happy with that result considering I built the car as a WRC contender first and a drag car second

You are all starting to see how powerful and important the Champions pick is starting to become
And you have all put up with my constant and on-going modification of the rules so thanks.
But I do also say that I will not hold anything back with my entries, now that I am not the Racemaster @AirJordan & @one85db watch out cause Iām gunning for the first to have 3 wins in a row.
Aww shucks, Iām getting all embarrassedā¦
But seriously, I cannot make nice designs without nice templates; +1 Bromance towards all the great modders whoāve provided all the mod bodies and sweet fixtures needed for a good design plus Team Automation for all the vanilla bodies!
Quick tip: If your original ideas are too original, start by copying well designed real life cars and get a feel for why they work compared to what youāve done in the past. Then try to incorporate their aesthetic into your designs without it being a carbon copy. Pretty soon youāll be making excellent designs that will make the next generation of Automationeers jealous!
