look, it’s not going anywhere, and i’ve had things going on in the real world that have prevented me from being on top of things. so i’m sorry for that.
this is not some conspiracy against you. i am not out to get you. i am following the rules laid down for the task, and your car failed them. i myself have been DQ’d for an illegal car before, so you’re not a pariah at all.
I respect the time it takes for you to fill the position of racemaster. I’m fully aware it takes far more of your time then it does us to make an entry.
That being said I do not agree with your decision in this round. I stated quite clearly in my PM that the drivability will be off by 0.1 on my build and that was because beta was not saving my suspension changes correctly. I asked if it was an issue that you let me know.
I sent that 10 days ago and received no further correspondence except in this public forum, now.
I couldn’t care less about being a pariah or not - fact of the matter is, yes my car failed on the original specs but I was not made aware nor was I given an oppurtunity to resubmit as per the the Challenge Host’s rules. I see this as an irony that my entry was regarded to break the rules, yet here the racemaster sits - breaking rules.
I do agree with @Spool at some points, since it is in the rules and it’s not the first time it happens, last round we had a similar problem to deal with. I think that the best solution would give 48h to the disqualified players to fix the problem, but I agree with you, @JohnWaldock, when you say that it has been to much time after the deadline and I do know that it takes a lot more of time to be the race master. So I would really like to read @Darkshine5’s opinion about this mess before any decision is made.
I’m pretty sure I have never take the bottom grille out. I downloaded this one really recently from Steam, so if you could check if you really have it I would really appreciat that.
