Drag Racing Challenge ROUND 13: 3 Cylinders Light Weight Sport Budget! Deadline 15/11/2016

Sounds like a good decision, that’s why I thought we should read your opinion before anything.

i apologize for not being on top of things, i really do.

but i had to disallow you entry due to the time constraints that this task was under, normally, i would have given you an opportunity to go and rectify the issue, but i caught it too late (i only saw it on Tuesday) because of things IRL so i will take blame for not allowing opportunity.

lightness.

always. lightness

True, but it weights roughly the same as @RaduST truck and has much less power. Good work on tuning.

dice rolls too, got damn lucky

Yeeeeeeaaaaaaaa!!!
The first time I pass the qualifying I won! That’s to good!

The recipe is simple, @AirJordan, 5% lightness, 10% flat torque curve and 85% luck. Haha

I’ll figure out the next rules soon.

Congrats to @Nomade0013!

Now moving back to me: :))
This round I basically tried to mimic @AirJordan’s recipe from round 6 when he won using a high revving NA V12. But it didn’t work exactly as expected. And I kinda did it to myself. If I would have chosen the half mile track instead of the classic 1/4 I suspect that my 100 extra hp would have made a difference.

That’s right, in 1/2 mile my truck would lose really bad.

Well done Nomad. And well done @JohnWaldock for handling the situation sometimes we make mistakes but these mistakes always make the challenge better in the long run.

Thanks for being the bigger man John and letting my entry have the oppurtunity to run.

Congratulations to Nomade for the win and all other competitors for the entries! It appears things were very close.

The next DRC rules will be the following ones:

90’s Japanese Cars
Year: 1999
Max Power: 280hp
Comfort: 30+
Sportiness: 40+
Reliability: 65+
No V8s or V12s
Max Value: 20000 (+30% markup)

It’s an easy challenge, the hard part will be the fine tunning of the engine and gears, weight and adjust the torque curve.

And we need the Champions Pick, @phale.

@HighOctaneLove track pick is yours as the champion’s pick. Congrats!

Ooooooh JDM hypuuuuuuuuuuuuu :triumph:

YAY. JDMs. That is my part

Is this a ‘276hp only’ like in real life (320hp in an R33), or hard capped? :joy:

Looks over Boss Motorsports engine list

Yeeaaaaaaaaaah, might sit this one out…

Please buy a DSDS crate 6…my company is broke
