This post is designed to be read from top to bottom stopping and viewing each video between reading. (there will be more alot more added in time and when finished I will post to a new topic I encourage other builders to send myself ads info etc if you would like to be featured)

As the gates open people start flowing in, still with no idea who will be playing. However it is well known that the DSD bigwigs hang out and sponsor the heavy metal crowd so the style of music is not any secret.

DSD’s ceo takes the stage at 1 PM on the first day.

"Thank you all for coming now the point of this exercise was not only to show off DSD’s New sports cars but to be here with you enjoying some of our favorite bands and to announce that DSD and Saminda are joining forces and the Saratoga will also be produced with Saminda Drive-line and sold under the name ___________________ and utilizing a Saminda Hybrid system. This festival has multiple bands of many different styles (but mainly harder rock) over the next few days but we will also be doing hotlaps and test drives with our entire range from 2004-2017. After we have finished with day 1 the festival allows other manufacturersto showcase vehicles from their entire range in the form of hotlaps and test drives.
At this stage CEO Darkshine’s will take the stage and discuss in detail how the Saratoga came to be
This new top end trim of the Saratoga retails at $82000 (40%) so enjoy the show enjoy the cars and remember before all else have fun.

HEADLINING THE DSD GREEN HELL FESTIVAL DAY 1 IT"S METALLICA

end of day one

Day 2 starts early with motoring journalists taking the new cars from DSD for test drives and hotlaps around the track starting from 8:00 AM.
By 9:00 AM the journo’s have finished with the DSD test and the track is opened to the other manufacturers to start their own hotlaps sessions.
(more info about the laps and other manufacturers present will be here)

The NRZ-966 is Maesima’s first sports car and extremely rare sight as there were produced during the Communist regime were not wildly exported. Post-2001 there has been a revival with models being sold internationally and the creation of extreme performance versions.
We are lucky enough to have a fully restored NRZ-966 that is doing fun laps of the track available for use.

Time down back straight:__________________

ECV have arrived fresh from the Paris autoshow and are showcaing their new Pyxis 2 which has a very unique aero fixtures using flaps like that of an aircraft rather than conventional wings. As this car is still very hush hush ECV are taking people for slow cruises around the track and not partaking in any friendly races at this stage of the festival

+\

1 PM comes around again and DSD’s untamed racing drivers take the stage.

“Howdy Germany we are lucky enough to be here announcing the bands…which means we can’t drink so we hope your all happy!”
The crowd erupted in laughter and plastic cups of beer being thrown on stage.
"So that being the case we have decided to come dance with your ladies and show em some New Zealand “Down Under” hospitality. FIRST UP ON DAY 2 IS A CLASSIC, SOMEONE WE ARE SO PROUD TO HAVE…THE CRANBERRIES

Tim and Jim jump back up on stage.
"ok we may not be alloud to drink today so we must thanks those of you out there today smoking joints…the boiss said nothing about being stoned and we are in europe so why not thank guys. THE NEXT GROUP UP IS MUSE!!!

Tim struggles onto the stage
"OK lads and lasses I can barely stand but we can see the music man like it’s floating and throbbing and ejaculating…wow…oh um wats that thing again…um king Aurther…knights ah that’s right IT’S KAMELOT

Tim and Jim are seen swigging down a few cups of beer before staggering onto stage…Jim trips pushes Tim before Jim falls of the stage and Tim crashes into the next acts drumkit and passes out where he fell. Jim is unceremoniously thrown up on stage by security.
“Ok hic these next guys can party and party hard…oh I think I am going t be sick…mwaalgh oh fried beans.”
Tim looks down and sees that he has vomited on the security guard that put him back on stage.
“Oh sorry man… FYI I spewed on your cock.”
The gaurd starts to climb on stage.
As he is running (stumbling) away he yells into the mike.
ITS DAYGREEN I MEAN GREENDAY!!!

Darkshine’s take to the stage.
"Unfortunately due to foreseen events Tim and Jim will no longer be your announcers today.
But that just means I get to hang out with you guys instead of the media. And I am proud to introduce to the stage good friends of mine DRAGONFORCE

HEADLINING DAY @ IS MEGADEATH

Day three starts at 9:30 AM

Oliver Redhawk walks onto the stage with 6 close members of the RPG crew.
Oliver: “How’s everyone doing today! We are a few of the guys at RPG, and we heard there was this music and car festival thingy going on? So, we decided to stop by!”
Brett: “And we wouldn’t want to dissapoint at any car-thingy ever, right? So we brought with some cars!”
Oliver: “Today we would like to donate a 1956 AEA Eagle TR-F, a 1961 V8 special, a 1983 RPG eagle, and a classic 1967 El Govnor Hi-Lux to DSD’s museum!”

The 1956 AEA Eagle TR-F

Designated TR-F for Track Ready with Forged pistons, this little 2 seater has its fair share of trophies.

The 1961 Eagle V8 Special

Widely considered the best year for the trim, this Eagle was powered by a 273ci V8 that made an estimated 230 hp! And it could pull 0.95g in the tight corners!

The 1967 AEA El Govnor Hi-Lux

American Eagle Automotive’s finest in Luxury Sport Convertibles. This cruiser was powered by a big block 444ci Hemi engine, and could handle quite well for its 4600 lb weight!

The 1983 RPG Eagle

We took on the task of finishing the contract AEA forgot, and made it faster, safer, and more Fun!

Brett: “But what’s a car worth if it’s not driven? Nothing, so for the duration of the festival go ahead and drive these classic machines!”
Oliver: “Now, let’s not forget the music though. Get off your feet and MAKE SOME NOISE FOR OH, SLEEPER!”

Don’t mean to be rude, but, er, that’s not an Erin Tauga

I like this idea of a car show crossed with a music festival. Sounds like CarFest (something we have in the UK) but a lot less family-friendly!

oh I thought it was the Tauga my mistake what model was it

The Lira 200SL :stuck_out_tongue:

All right people due to demand this concert is turning into a week long event. If you have a car you would like to advertise here from any year of your company or if you want a particular band/video shown please pm myself with any information I will need to add to the post

also please feel free to run your cars over the below section of track for some friendly bragging rights

Such time with steel chassis and hydropneumatic suspension… Saratoga is magic. And 900 hp from N/A 5.6? Some powerful dark spells must have been used there

Lots of timing (100) and slider points on head and fuel system. But now that we have proven we can go 6:59 the perfomance of the toga will no longer be improved but DSD will rather start looking at areas to make the car cheaper to run.

and thank you

aka the lopiest of lopey idles  it must sound like a mean motherfucker.

Week long event huh? We must find a way to get there. And bring a car. The question is… which one?

Probably Daeva. But damn, the hell you do to get a sub seven minute car for so cheap, that’s fucking ridiculous.

don’t worry I just realized that I have done all these tests on the wrong chassis using Ahs steel instead of bonded alloy so there may be another few seconds in her. To be honest I could go further but I don’t see the point as the toga has driven up the knowledge of DSD already and I do not want to get into a my car is faster than yours, bu rather use it as a tool to bring other companies to DSD for partnership etc

Is this basically Horizon fest for goths as opposed to flat brim vape crowds?

um kinda day 3 is set as the cool down day so some hip hop and pop, then rock gods on day 4 before the day 5 finale with the more well known metal crowd so yes but no but kinda
More an ex armed forces gig with the music styles lol

So after a quick test build it turns out that building a sub 7 manual FR hypercar for sub 100k with up to 100% markup is not… difficult. @ramthecowy and DS5 have already proven this in abundance. Now I just have to see how I can make a car like this that’s actually compatible with the GG philosophy, and that’s the hard part:

  • I’ll have to come up with an alternative manufacturing pipeline preferably in aluminium
  • Car has to be VVTL as it needs some semblance of economy, lol.
  • I like being able to do sub 7s on sports +8 tyres. Semi slicks are for cheating :sunglasses:
  • Needs adequate safety. Later GG models anticipate higher safety requirements in coming decades so will be pursuing ratings of 45 and above (so much for weight reduction).
  • For their accessible models, gone are the days of basic -15 interior. Now it’s sports 0 interior. And 2 speaker system.
  • For a perfectly balanced FR experience, this car must have 50:50 weight distribution
  • But also, because it’s a GG car, it also must have at least 1000bhp.

If I can get all of those things, I might allow myself to nab a sub-7 on a flying lap as opposed to the standing start on the default track. And if I can manage all of those things in the next few days, I’ll be coming on down to this grand occasion!

EDIT: Okay, mission 50% complete. I managed to squeeze out the original vision of the Aesma trim, which is the big i6 turbo version with the 6 speed DCT, on +8 sport tyres (GG’s default for regular level hypercars rated to 400km/h). It squeaks in under 7 minutes from a standing start.

Argh these cars are so heavy hnnnnngh :sob: If I can get the NA V12 6 speed manual version to do the same I would be very pleased. But if I can’t, well, it does do it on the flying lap. And then I’ll somehow bang out the design from somewhere and then I’ll join you at the party woooooooo headbaaaaang.

New information has risen that DSD have been working on another variant of Saratoga. This time the v8 was not chosen however a 4.1L turbocharged inline six is found in its place.
Early data received suggests that the vehicle will retail at $61999 whilst still retaining the top end interior and sound systems of the other models. What is different is the engine, as not everybody lives in countries where you can rely on a steady reliable source of high octane fuel this engine is tuned to run on just about anything. Got some old booze throw it the tank, even turpentine will power this thing.
Stats will change as the car is still in development

7:33 on 80 octane? That’s a whole new frontier!

We may need a new category of lap times specifically for cars running on low quality (80 RON) unleaded.

AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCES DEAL WITH DSD TO PROVIDE FAST RESPONSE MILITARY VEHICLES

In late 2016 the Australian government announced that it had struck a deal with DSD to create and provide a sustainable source of fast response recon armored vehicles to be sold by the Australian military throughout the rest of the U.N forces.

The deal is said to be worth 1.4 Billion dollars and will ensure that DSD lives on well into the future. The first vehicles are required by the end of financial year 2018.

This comes as further rumors of a Raw Fiberglass car with a DSD badge and camouflage being seen at QLD raceway posting very fast lap times but not a Saratoga.
DSD would not comment on whether a new higher spec car was being developed however they were happy to reveal information about the new military vehicle.

“The vehicle is named Sand & Snow Fast Response Armored Vehicle or abbreviated to SFRAV. The vehicle will come equipped with a low octane fuel mechanically injected turbocharged inline six engine with a 9sp automatic and 4x4. It seats 3 soldiers including the driver but will fit 2 stretchers in the event of Rescue, Capture or Injury situations. There will also be a “Trouper” Model which will seat 5 specialists. The body is solid reinforced steel and is covered in projectile deflecting plates and is fitted with brush bars and a turret mount to suit a wide variety of weapons from 7.62 light machine guns thru to grenade launchers and 25mm automatic cannons.”

The vehicles are fast safe reliable and deadly and perfectly suited to sand dunes or snow drifts.

In Other News we can confirm that picture’s have emerged of the phantom DSD vehicle

And an un-official time recorded by a bystander at the track the day the car was spotted.

When we compare this to the official time recorded by the Green Hell Saratoga we can see there is quite a difference so this cannot be a Saratoga as we know it?
