Engine update

it would be really nice to add a few new engine types and little additions to engines.

V4 engines would be cool, Offering a compact and sporty alternative to the Inline 4 or flat 4.

I also think it would be cool if there was more engine parts that we could customize to make
different engines have more diverse looks. This isnt the main focus id like to see but would be a cool bonus if pulled off.

Forced induction can also be updated to have more options.
Centrifugal superchargers and Screw compressor superchargers. Would be great additions because they are options commonly used throughout automotive history.

Another tip I have is that you should be able to filter engines from years to engine types. This would make it much easier to see what engine types are viable for what cars once you get very far into building cars with many engines and engine variants.

I, uhh, can’t even…

V4 - please read the FAQ.

Superchargers - please read the FAQ, or watch some LDUs on the official YT Automation channel, or switch the game to open alpha and look around in it. Superchargers are coming, and, by Automation standards, very soon (they already are available in the open alpha).

Although I admit that the other suggestions don’t seem bad or repetitive. Actually, I’d like such engine filter too. When I want some 90s I4, I don’t want to have to scroll through 50s and 2000s I4s or 90s V8s and I6s too. As for the customisation, I can’t really picture what more would make sense to be customised, since I think the heads or their covers and the intake stuff are usually the things that “make” the engine’s look IRL.

An engine filter is not a bad idea, but those superchargers are coming to automation in the Al-Rilma update.

More valve covers would be nice tbh.

its a game in the end I would like to see cutting edge stuff like split turbos like F1 pneumatic valves, w engines even combine heads like VW VRS … TDI , Rotors, even orbital , Hydrogen fuel everything can be done

This is a game about production cars… And so far most of what you said currently isnt part of roadcar technology, so dont expect it to be implemented.

But one can dream, right?

And those parts which are production car technology are all covered in the FAQ, IIRC.

One can .. but Hyodrogen , rotors , tdi , VRS are production tech and has been sold .. but one can dream
