EPIC RAP BATTLES OF AUTOMATION!
STROPPY MCHORSEGUY!
VERSUS!
NORMANVAUXHALL!
BEGIN!
NormanVauxhall:
It’s Žnopresk with Zest to show you some class
And I’m only scraping the surface of your cars
Coming lightning quick, as if Zeus joins the battle
And strikes you with ability to build affordable
I’m zooming in on Stroppy, this-a bogan is-a goner!
One Zap and there goes your ninja wannabe fursona
You roll up your fart rockets, they’re getting crescendo
But you still can not beat a Fiat 500
Strop:
Try more engaging lines, I’m already sleep deprived
You don’t have stuff to do, so you’re boring me with rhymes?
You can try and grab an apple, it won’t keep me away
Now, let’s medically examine your car building way
Any performance? ŽNOPE! Comfort or prestige? ŽNOPE!
Any redeeming quality in your crap at all? ŽNOPE!
Just quit rapping, any good on the track you’re not
Your power’s so questionable. I’m going “megawhat?”
NormanVauxhall:
I’ve got a proper business, too big for you to beat
You’ve got a bunch of misfits struggling to add speed
Now, here’s a newsflash! “You gotta go big!”
Does not mean “turn a race into TL;DR league”
Strop:
I’m above you, mate, the Žnopresk Zenith has failed ya
Your beaters can’t beat the rare beasts of Straya
“Itsa Italian character, these are not flaws!”
This is how Yugo about admitting your cars suck balls
WHO WON?
WHO’S NEXT!
YOU DECIDE!

NormanVauxhall:
It’s Žnopresk with Zest to show you some class
Introduction. Zest is one of Žnopresk Avtotechnika cars.
And I’m only scraping the surface of your cars
Zest is also what you get when you scrape the outer skin, or the surface, of a citrus fruit, a lemon for an instance. Yup. Norman is calling Strop’s cars lemons.
Coming in lightning quick, as if Zeus joins the battle
Zeus is a thunder god, therefore Norman calls his approach lightning quick. Zeus is also the Žnopresk supercar.
And strikes you with ability to build affordable
This supercar showed Strop how to build performance machines without having to spend a shitton of $$.
I’m zooming in on Stroppy, this-a bogan is a goner!
Norman is Italian, so there’s some italian accent thrown in. Bogan is an Australian (fitting since Strop is from there) slang thing, apparently describing low class or something. I figured Strop would be vaguely insulted by that, so I’ve thrown that in. Also it sounds rather nice.
One Zap and there goes your ninja wannabe fursona
Zap is one of Žnopresk’s cars, but here it’s used to convey that Norman is gonna obliterate Strop. Also, Strop has a self-insert ninja horse OC. Norman uses that to call Strop a furry - “fursona” meaning an alter ego of one.
You roll up your fart rockets, they’re getting crescendo
Gratuitous Italian ftw. “Crescendo” means “becoming louder”.
But you still can not beat a Fiat 500
More gratuitous italian ftw. Norman used the Italian word for 500 here, “cinquecento”, in case you’re wondering “how the fuck is 500 supposed to rhyme with crescendo”. Fiat 500 is an iconic Italian car, but rather lacking in performance. According to Norman, Strop still can’t beat that
Strop:
Try more engaging lines, I’m already sleep deprived
Strop frequently mentions sleep deprivation as a part of his profession
You don’t have stuff to do, so you’re boring me with rhymes?
So, Norman used to leave rather frequently, with his girlfriend, to “do stuff”. Now he does not do that this often. Strop’s explanation for that is that Norman can’t get laid anymore and now takes it out on Strop by deliberately boring him
You can try and grab an apple, it won’t keep me away
Strop is a doctor. And an apple a day keeps a doctor away. Supposedly.
Now, let’s medically examine your car building way
Strop is still a doctor.
Any performance? ŽNOPE! Comfort or prestige? ŽNOPE!
Any redeeming quality in your crap at all? ŽNOPE!
Strop combines Žnopresk name with “nope”, and says there’s nothing going for Norman’s cars.
Just quit rapping, any good on the track you’re not
Double meanings ftw. Strop says Norman is not good at rapping, or in other words, good on the (music) track. But since it’s a battle of car builders, he’s also saying Norman is bad on a race track as well.
Your power’s so questionable. I’m going “megawhat?”
PUNS FTW! “megawatt” is a unit of power. “megawhat” is when you have a megaquestion. Fitting for “questionable” power
NormanVauxhall:
I’ve got a proper business, too big for you to beat
You’ve got a bunch of misfits struggling to add speed
Norman compares the scale of Žnopresk to the scale of Gryphon Gear.
Now, here’s a newsflash! “You gotta go big!”
A setup.
Does not mean “turn a race into TL;DR league”
For Norman making fun of the lenght of Barely Street Legal League
Strop:
I’m above you, mate, the Žnopresk Zenith has failed ya
Zenith is one of Žnopresk’s cars. Zenith means “directly above a location”. So, it’s Norman who’s supposed to be above Strop. Strop says it’s not the case though
Your beaters can’t beat the rare beasts of Straya
More puns. “Beater” might mean “someone beating someone else”, but in case of car terminology… The motto of Gryphon Gear, Strop’s company, is “Rare beasts of the track”. Strop is from Australia
“Itsa Italian character, these are not flaws!”
Italian cars are stereotypically flawed. The Italian car fans are stereotypically claiming the flaws to be "character"
This is how Yugo about admitting your cars suck balls
OK, so, Žnopresk, before becoming merged with a Italian upmarket company, was a company producing cheap shit, founded in what would become Yugoslavia. Strop therefore compares Žnopresk to Yugo, known for rather low quality. It’s also a pun, because Strop uses the Yugo name in place of “you go”.
