F-Eng Startup 1970

hy guy’s, currently i’m creating a new thread with new Company planning a complete new startup (actually my demo tryout thread can be closed, cause now i’m on the SC Edition

Ok i will work from the 70’s on starting in 1971 trying to create a complete lineup of diffrent types of cars.

I’ll start with a Coupe called Piston S (actually S cause a non Index one hasn’t been planned until yet, Fussel Engineering is also looking for a light upperclass customer segment were car’s will stay affordable and will be bought by these customers, - so it’s simply Marketing)

Details are on the pic’s below. - it has to be mentioned that the Piston S in 1970 has an technical trashy 1.6l engine with 70HP that made the car still slow even with the light construct of the chassi, So 1970 was more a year of gaining experience for Fussel Engineering, maybe i’m gonna post this shame of a buildup later

Short Details of the Piston S:

Engine 1.4l (available since 1971):
4Zyl 16V carburetor
103HP (6000RPM)
17,63% 436,4g/kwh
MTBF 31911
32.5 Hours to build @ 646.39$ material costs

feel free to comment, next creation will be a Piston S Fastback, → it’s already done → also there will be an SR Fastback and an R Version of the Piston S later

Back in 1970 there was also designed a 2nd Modell the Skino Series.

This one doesn’t made it on the market in this year but is also in the line on 1971 next to the Piston S

It’s an cruiser, and that’s exactly what it’s made for. The design is made controversial -some people love it, some will hate it. The Skino Series comes with no viewable exhaustsystem, this one is constructed behind the rearbumper.

It comes up with an 2.0l carburater engine, only 100HP @5800 RPM - later Models will be planned with a back fitting engine, so the trunk is prepared with air supply already

18.67% 412.0 g/kwh
MTBF 47965
21.3 hours to build @ 474.48$

The Series will be available and listed next to the Piston S in 1971 here some details:

I think you might be using a little bit too modern pieces for certain parts of the car but otherwise great job!

The vents on the rear are amazing!

thanks for the feedback, maybe i’ve should have taken the round frontlights for the Piston with the chromeframes. But since the car’s i create will first be all available in white - chrome does not make that much of an accent.

Since i live in Germany and it’s gettin late over here ->

The Piston S Fastback will be available tomorrow, timelined it will be in 1972 with a 5 gear shiftbox and instead of 13" it will have 14" wheels, also Topspeed and economy will be incresed. It breaks faster and it’s a little bit lighter even if the whole car looks bigger  Engine stays the same as in the Piston S

regards Killa

I really, really like how you have designed the front and the rear of the Piston S. Especially the front. And trust me, I’m not one who say this kind of things often.
Great work.

The front of the Piston made me drop my jaw… that is bloody amazing man! I am really amazed on how good that looks!

I really like the Skino!

thanks guys - nice to hear

So here it comes, the Piston S Fastback like i promised it’s available in 1972

Short details of optimations:

14" wheels
better breaks
5 gear shiftbox (higher topspeed)

Engine details:

Engine 1.4l (available since 1971):
4Zyl 16V carburetor
103HP (6000RPM)
17,63% 436,4g/kwh
MTBF 31911
32.5 Hours to build @ 646.39$ material costs

The front looks amazing, and the back end looks positively evil. Were you trying to achieve that effect?

it was planned to create something diffrent in this time period and since the back of the created chassis comes up swinging at the tail the rearlights were fit in the position they are and make that special look.

Planned for release in 1973 there comes the Piston SR Fastback since the sellbook history showed, that the fastback was sold better th normal coupe.

The SR shows up as step between the S and the SRS Modell. It comes with a more sporty 3.0l 20V carburator engine

Short details:

3.0l DOHC MFI 20V 4Zyl carburator 185HP
MTBF47620
hours to build 32.4
costs: 2087.09
19.41% 396.2 g/kwh

The SR will be an all in all brighter package than all versions befor, have a look on your own and have fun to comment

to make the post of the Piston SR Fastback complete here’s the engine

This car is simply AMAZING! It’s beautifully designed, and i think it would sell like water if if went into production!

latest news, the Piston R shows up next to the SR Fastback it will complete the lineup with the missing Coupe.

Same 3.0l Engine like in the SR Fastback, different Testresults - I can tell you, there’s far more in line on this model - Fussel Engineering managed to create an V8 6.0l engine that fit’s in the little beauty  The results for it’s timeline are not bad in efficiency and Power.

but now have a look on the Piston R and enjoy, please comment as much as you like ^^

The headlights on the Piston are superb! Can you reveal how you managed to make them?

they are already as a complete unit in your toolbox

I always enjoy cars made on Automation much better when fixtures are used differently than usual. Like the modern looking headlights, flipped around and made to fit with the old body shape. It looks great!

next update, The Piston L stands right next to the Piston S as a larger and improved station wagon solution.

It comes with a 2.0l carburator Engine 100HP

Have a look

the latest model’s of the Piston’s are in charge right now, the Piston SR Fasback Drag nad the Piston SRS 6.0l

They both come up with a 6.0l V8 311HP engine, but the Drag Edition will accelerate faster but has a lower topspeed.

Have a look on the last expansion stage at the Piston Modell’s - Maybe there will be a new edition of it some day but Fussel Engineering will close down with this late modell on it’s highest hights and build itself a monumental base of innovativ design to look quit confident into the future for new fantastic creations
