Can we get across the mentality to run a search before posting please!? Reading the same stuff over and over again is not only annoying but its leading to multiple threads all over the shop.
True that 
but people who do what you don’t want to happen will not read any instructions either, no matter how prominent these instructions are. It’s a battle lost by default. ; (
a small idea - answer the topic at hand with a link of the older discussion and close it, takes time, but will make life a little easier
I do that sometimes when i close threads. Most often i merge the threads so nothing is really lost
