Full screen motor view

Hello,

I think it’s a good idea to have an option to view our ‘creation’ on full screen (to make screenshots).

Is it possible/already discussed/planned ?

Full screen is kinda hard to do, as that render window doesn’t like scaling.

Note that when you use the take photo button the screenshot it takes IS fullscreen (no UI, higher resolution)

Ok nice !

I noticed this button but never searched where it saves… ^^’

Thank you !

Ill try it this evening

Tried, thank you again

But the area around the “window” can be used ? :

That’s a good idea for who has pc’s with small screens like my cheap 15.6" laptop

It’s a good idea for any pc, IMO. it’s just wasted space as it is.

Not really, as the main menu window will become the actual main game window with all your factory stuff etc in it, with floating windows for the engine designer etc.

Also, as I’ve said a few times, there are a few technical issues with getting those windows to perfectly scale to all resolutions.

Daffy I do like the windows, as my grandpa always said if it aint broke dont fix it!

Owh, ok I understand !
So for the “end game” there will be multiples windows to configure other things than the engine.

That’s right, but next time I buy a screen, I don’t want to choose a 24" because I know only 20" can be “really” used :stuck_out_tongue:
In fact, I tried all the resolution and there is always this space around the engine designer.

Yes, there will be floating windows for different things, and the main game will be in the background pane.

I have a 21.5in Monitor and it works awesomely in 720p windows mode I dont care if its got those borders its still cool

Of course it is AWESOME, in 800x600 too ! :stuck_out_tongue:

Keep up the good work

I like 1280x720 it means I can upload smaller files to Youtube than over 1GB files for a 1080p video recording I might not do 1080p videos often but when I do they are just for fun

And as a game I’ll probably run it at 5760 x 1080 and have a whole bunch of different windows open at once :stuck_out_tongue:

GEEK ORGASM ALERT!!! BATTLE STATIONS!

2560x1440 tri monitor here

My problem is that when I hit the camera button it takes a pic of the engine and nothing else. I know this is supposed to happen, but I can’t take a pic of all the info next to the engine because when I hit print screen it takes a screenshot of my desktop. I’m fairly sure this has to do with using Windows 8.

I’m always using the awesome Snipping Tool (Win7, don’t know if that’s in Win8, too).
