Some bodies clip through the lift and it’s annoying when you’re trying to make sideskirts and there’s a big grey rectangle in the way. Since changing how these bodies are placed on the lift on a case-by-case basis may be too tedious, simply allow us to hide the lift from view so the car is floating. Or, even better, have the car sit on the ground on its wheels.

Changing how the bodies sit on the lift will mean ruining every car made with them. So yeah, best to avoid that if possible.

makes sense…
but disabling the lift visually could be an addition of great use for cases like that
(still depends on relation of program complexity to actual gain tho)
