Is negative techpool banned?

I’m assuming it is (for balancing reasons).

dang 185 hp for a 1980s car is diabolical :sob:

I forgot to add it to the rules so, it’s technically legal. Just don’t abuse it

1989 AMS Abella 1.6is 16v

120bhp in an 800kg ball of fun, yours for just $14k AMU.

The flagship of the 1989 Abella line (the base model of which is shown here), the 1.6iS 16V channeled its 120 horsepower (from a 1.6L 16v naturally aspirated straight-four) to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox and helical limited-slip differential. With a kerb weight of just 800 kilograms, it was able to reach 60 mph from a standstill in just under 8 seconds.

Vented disc brakes at each corner, combined with a sport-tuned suspension, help it achieve cornering and braking figures that matched or exceeded those of its contemporaries, without unnecessary compromises in comfort or daily usability.

With a cassette tape stereo and 5 adult-sized seats included in its $14,000 AMU sticker price, this was a good deal for anyone at the time who was in the market for a practical, light, and efficient performance car that could handle constant daily use.

Presents the
1985 Sapporo Uni Super GT

so you wanted to get yourself a sporty, reliable car that behaves like a beast on the circuit? The Uni is back, and this time it’s stronger and faster than ever. With a top speed of 217 km/h, outrunning your neighbour sedan on the freeway won’t be a problem anymore. With this new model a new engine is introduced to the family: A 1.8L I4 DOHC 16V pushing 122 hp and 170 nm. We decided to lower a bit the horsepower to make the torque higher, which means you’ll have a better acceleration compared to the UNI 1.
With this new generation, we included a new pinstriping livery that remarks the car lines.
We also decided to implement a sportier chassis inspired from sport coupes, which is a galvanized steel monocoque chassis. The front suspensions get double wishbone suspension inspired directly from the Group B cars, while the rear suspensions keep the standard semi-trailing arm. We kept a Front-Wheel drive layout to make the car more practical and easier to fix if it breaks, which is very unlikely to happen ; )
The gearbox remains the same with a small improvement which lightens the driveshaft and loses the open differential for a newer, better Helical Limited Slip Differential that enhances the feel with the asphalt while driving your car.
The weight of the car is 891.1 kg excluding fuel.
With a newer car comes better fuel economy. That’s why the new Uni does 12.6 kilometers with one liter of fuel.

Coming at a price of 15.800 USD

Digital Extras

These cars are not a real product of any manufacturer, any likeness or other similarities to real brands is purely coincidence. Actual model may change in final submission.

Hot Hatches from Primus have a long tradition!

The 1985 Advance GTi-16V is maybe a bit expensive at the first look, but chosing a Primus rarely happens for the price alone.

Take a look instead at the value you get for it.

Latest safety equipment, a thrilling 170 horsepower engine, outstanding economy and a complete interior with velours/leather upholstery, premium sound system, four power windows and much more.

The Advace is refined, comfortable, but delivers the best performance in its class - we recommend the LSD option to increase the life of your front tires (not included in the base price).

A galvanized chassis and computer controlled suspension are another boons that you would not expect in this class.
So by looking again at the car and the price list, do you still think that a Primus is overpriced? Or is it more, that you have the choice to spend more for the better here?

Press reviews of the “Not so hot” 1.5 GL model have been favorable so far:

“If the Mara is too austere, may we recommend the Primus Advance? This is more of a first-world compact commuter car, and is priced accordingly, but it’s still affordable, and a lot safer as well. It’s much more comfortable, especially with its advanced automatic transmission (an optional fitment, but present in our test car), and despite slightly oversized light clusters front and rear, it still looks way better than the bare-bones Mara. (abg7, 1984 Letaran Auto Convention)”

PRIMUS. Die erste Wahl.
