Sorry folks. Laptop done went kaput.
I assume the current year will be 2016? Determines a few things, including who happens to be in charge of Storm Automotive at the present time. Yes, this matters.
Yup.
And the ICA doesn’t mind Androids, apparently? Given that they’ve dumped this shitbox on Luke’s lawn, I’d assume they don’t mind him attempting something with his advanced fully-automated facilities.
Then again, Luke’s backstory has him being formerly constructed by the US Government, so I suppose this would be a test. Would he participate, thereby proving to be allied with the ICA, another government branch, or would he refuse, showing himself to be an AI gone rogue. Luke’s biggest enjoyment is to build cars, and then to race them, so he likely would participate.
raises eyebrow
This idea of yours…
…I like.
When you say we can’t change the body does that mean we can’t make the wheel arches wider and does modifying suspension include changing it to double wishbone for example?
How do we submit, do we need to send our cars back to you, or just post screenshots? Are these cars going to be competing against each other or is the only goal to beat the 1.21.6 benchmark?
Any budget or economy requirements?
The wheel arches should be maxxed. You cannot change the Frame or the body/panel material. Anything is fair game.
No cost or economy limits.
Post a screen shot of the car with your time. I’ll go on the honor system here.
How about this EcoSport model that can do it while being comfortable, efficient (40mpg), and only costing $24000 (10% markup)?
I am thinking that perhaps instead of using one track use 3 and use an average time from the 3 to be the benchmark and give us a max cost price so that everything doesn’t just get maxed out especially since this body can fit a 120mmx120mm v8 and a deadline before the next episode starts, also some info about the next episodes will help with the builds as I am assuming with these vehicle being “police cars” that there would be certain attributes that must be adhered to with the cost of the vehicles the reliability the safety the fuel economy and the drive-ability (as not all people are created equal and some are just bad drivers).
. The other thing is I think we would all be better off if we didn’t post screenshots of times as it defeats the challenge, personally I think that you will need to have Steam with all mods downloaded and receiving exported files is a better way to go.
I actually don’t mind the screenshots for this part, this isn’t the competition yet just the job application, so to speak. I do agree this was too easy. haha
ICA gives us a shitbox, we give them back a flying turd.
Grouse all you want, you little shits. You enjoyed it.
YEAAAAARGH WE DO. MASOCHIST FOR THE WIN…
wait …what?
The ICA finds a shitbox dumped back on their lawn, with a note taped on the windshield.
“I think you will find this sufficiently fast. The safety has also been slightly improved.”
So you’re saying that companies like GG, which have a high beast-folk to human ratio, being an equal opportunity employer effectively founded solely by hybrids, would be working against the interests of this agency?
Sounds particularly dystopian for my ilk
Added a lip, a wing, a second pipe and shoved a ScramJet under the hood.
How do I take a screenshot without the icon in view? Unfortunately the Steam Screenshots are a little small.
