Only the body shape has to be from 1940 t0 1960 not the technology in the chassis right?

try to:
flare fenders
increase wheel diameter
decrease rim size from 15 to 13
increase tyre width

You’re still having us use a rear engine layout which limits us in body choice and engine choices. Unless you de-restrict that to AT LEAST MR + RR then all we get is a full field of not-porsche 356 bodies.

If the field is MR + RR you can bet the poor suckers who use RR are going to get pwnt hard. The main problem is we don’t have much in the way of RR yet.

I may have been too hardcore… My 730+ hp V6 tt prosche 356 lookalike cant even be tested before the tires commit suicide

RR is really tough to find that fine line between exploding tires and putting the power down. It’s not the easy platform to make fast, though I think that’s why I’m having fun building for it.

you have like 10 body choices

I presume that some of these are mods though.

If anything, the RR aspect of this makes it more worthwhile, because this is an aspect of the game that is underdeveloped for now and thus doesn’t have a lot of attention yet.

Strop, set the Rear Engine tab and you’ll see the choices. There’s quite a few just in the base game. I’m working on something that’s not the not-Porsche for my build.

Pending acceptance to challenge, ABR Designs brings a sneak peek of their latest creation

The ABR Greyhound

Without revealing too much, this ugly beast sports a power/weight ratio better than 1:1 both in regards to hp and nm.
And its not a not porsche

Sigh… And yes, the designer really loves wings out of proportion

Btw when will we know the track that the race will be on, I can’t really give my entry because I have to set the downforce and spacing right for the track.

Build one with the most generic setup and hope for the best?

denied - it used quality sliders

well, my car is ready as well. but it would be nice to know what to tune it for before submitting it. at least some indication. or do we vote on a track…?
