Man With a Van Challenge! (Second Review)

The Courier is incredibly boring. But, because it seems to be popular demand, I’ll show it off.

No, it’s not pretty. No, it’s not ‘cool’, and no, it’s not a race car. The Courier is Storm Automotive’s attempt to break into the cargo hauling market.
@Leo: That’s true, the thread would be kind of more boring if we didn’t post.

Here, have a Strongman!

@RoyalStig: Ok, without revealing too much, let’s say that my van does a Tulsa quarter mile in 15.35s, which, I can guarantee, would beat the pants off my daily drive Civic ;_;
hell no. that’s still mediocre for the styling.
5/8 not gr8 not so b8 either m8

DAT ROOF.
i’m really sorry but i have to be honest.
the first thing on my mind when i saw that is. a 2 story ‘corpse carrier thingy’ (what’s the name again?)… really sorry

with a signature 90’s look. it’s really not ugly, except for the roof.

I know, it looks like a cross between a hearse and an ambulance, but, on the bright side, there’s plenty of cargo room.

Damn. Never attempt to out Strop Strop  . Mine manages a 16.50s 1/4 mile.
Anways, I present to you the Griffin Car-GO!

I got bored and decided to make an entry, and I actually ended up quite pleased with it by surprise!

Only problem is that I have automation on a computer that isn’t online, so now I have to figure out how to get these files to my phone or something and send them in…

For the amount of work you would have to go through to get a document from a PC to a phone… It’d be much easier to just set your phone to hotspot mode and have your computer leech of it’s data.

no i once did it, if it’s an android it’s quite easy, but if it’s an iphone… can’t help ya, but yeah hotspot is going to be the easiest method

Pending acceptance.

Out stroping who? This thing is a 14.7:1 AFR.

SX8M15-E88.9-ETDFI-U340
S: Single Overhead 3v
X: Modular Family
M#: Model Year Emissions.

E: Engine Family (E = Economy, P = Performance)
##: Bore size
Electronic Turbo Direct Fuel Injection
U: HP

Mine isn’t a competitor in the horsepower game. It has enough to get out of its own way.

I present to you my “Supernova(n)”.
Is it going to win anything? Fuck no. Is it fuel efficient? Ha. Was it fun to build? Hell yes

Ooh a turbo van, that’s gutsy. I found it too expensive so I just went with large displacement (and almost no tech slider adjustment). Note though I’m also running something like 14.5:1 AFR!

Nonetheless I think my fuel economy’s going to be pretty bad, that might singlehandedly destroy my score despite having a ridiculous utility score and what I believe to be strong drivability and comfort ratings.

My fuel economy is fucking dreadful. I am awful at tuning turbos, the only reason I did it was for that low end torque. Plus, power/sportiness has no value, so no point making a 7.0 V8 van

i almost submitted one with inline 6 2.6l turbo because i managed to make it put out 350Nm+@around 2k RPM and MUCH BETTER ECONOMY, managed 11.69km/l.

but ended up submitting something like 3.4L v6 i think? with only 200-220Nm@2k-ish similar HP number. but something among the line of only 10.5 km/l

because the drivability>fuel economy in scoring value.

Twin turbo 3L V6 FTW! . Yeah, my fuel economy is rather poor to say the least but oh well, it makes up for it in other areas.

3 liter V6 tuned for economy here.

1.8 liter turbo i4. Yeah. I’ve gone full Seishido.

Nothing wrong with that, Enry. Probably better fuel mileage than my lean-burning EFI V6.
