Man With a Van Challenge! (Second Review)

I am having a saving bug where it will not save a body morph, keeps reverting to the last version…damnit.

EDIT: Seems like I have two SLIGHTLY different versions of the same van in the bodies list…wonder if something got messed up somewhere down the line with the latest update and whatnot.

Go to the tab where you choose 2wd, AWD, or 4x4, and hit the icon that is the second to last on the left side of the screen, that will make the template over write the trim.

I am willing to bet that is your problem.

It isnt a template problem, I tried :frowning: It seems to be a bug with this file, I recreated the van and it seems to work. Everything is on track for a submission today

Yeah, I hate it when that happens. Re creating the car entirely seems to be the only permanent solution I can find.

Entered!! Just waiting for vehicle inspection. I promise all the emissions equipment functions as designed both in the lab AND on the road!

i just realised… the entered van names…

it’s either
express, exporter, courier, names that are actually connected with transportation
hercules, elephant, bear, big animal names that pictures strength.

and then… me
SWAN
just because i want a name of something elegant. dafuq brain?

Well, you know, Citroen has a mid sized cargo utility car/van (no idea what dafuq to call it), over here it’s sold as the Berlingo. I have no idea what that’s supposed to evoke

My van is named the Hardy. Sounds like a cheesy Japanese van name, doesn’t it?

If entries don’t fill by this weekend I’ll build one. Just can’t get around to it before then.

Probably not the most impressive… but heck with its manual locker it can deliver packages in rural communities just fine.

Corvus Automotive presents the CargoMax AllTrac (and I just realized the save filenames are wrong because I thought I was using another name here…)

It’s probably going to lose simply because it’s the size of a bus which penalizes driveability and economy and the complication of the engine isn’t needed, but it’s efficient!

i’m gonna assume it’s using AWD isn’t it?

I suppose that is what I would want a customer to assume… (because it is) :sunglasses:

Cool, another one who used the tall-deck on their cargo van. At least we’ll be able to carry large packages without having to lay them down first.

As my first activity on the forum, Lenraj Motors have just entered the challenge with the Lenraj Shippie, sporting an economic inline 6!

Introducing the 2015 Boss Brute. What better way to get the Blue Collar Workers to tune or buy their weekend cars at Boss Motorsports than producing their work van and mobile office? Focused on utility, fuel efficiency, driveability, and comfort, the 2015 Boss Brute is the van you can log 12 hours in while having all the cargo capacity you could possibly need or want.

The Brute is powered by a brutish 5.5L SOHC 3V V6. This motor is designed to give plenty of torque and horsepower while not making you faint at the pump after filling up. Capable of an overall Automation rated economy of almost 16 US MPG, this van is capable of sipping fuel while developing the muscle you need to do your job. With plenty of displacement and natural aspiration, this motor is simple and cheap, yet powerful and easy to keep cool which makes it great for fleet use.

Boss didn’t forget about the practicality of the Brute when it’s parked either. On the rear of the vehicle you’ll find large spotlights that can be turned on in the cab or rear of the van which allows you to illuminate your work area wherever you happened to park. (Keep the motor running for extended use.)

All in all, we at Boss Motorsports are confident that you will find the Brute plenty strong to keep up with your line of work while providing a comfortable and useful surrounding to do so.

Hey Guys, Just wanted to let you know that the results are in progress, it will take a little while for me to gather all of them however, so do be patient please. However, you may have noitced there where more than 20 entries. This is because I was absent for one day, and when I returned there where more than the amount I had posted, but, because I wasn’t there to update the list to inform people, I think it would seem unfair for me to deny them entry.

PHEW!!! I was getting worried…

EDIT: I think this is going to be a battle of the not Transits vs the not Opels…
EDIT2: Wonder if I have the least amount of power…probably…

can’t wait to get last place
