Mille Monti 1953 [PROCESSING]

Oh yeah, there’s been a lot of head-scratchers. One time, if I changed the car in any way either 1 slider anywhere brakes, driver aids, any of the engine, body quality, or interior quality, I lost .50 sec on leg 4.
both adding quality by one or lowering by one. it took time but wanted to make sure every single slider for no ryhme or reason apparently adds .50 of a second. the solution, put a bigger engine.never got back to that leg 4 time but was way faster everywhere else. Shaved 6 minutes total time and still not as fast on leg 4 as that magical iteration.

I daresay if you’re about to crack into 9h times you’re doing a lot better than pretty mid.

I hope he doesnt actually mean the 10h mark. Bro go the whole charcuterie out. how is that possible with this budget.

I mean under 11:00 lol

Yeah, the throttle make a huge deal on how the game like your design, it’s hard to fine tune for good performance and maintain a good response and curve for some drivability points, what I found that make huge difference is if you have a good torque curve the game will be happy with your gearing at the most drivability point as possible, better track times and less penalty in the spreadsheet.

Edit: by the way I’m running front/mid engine.

It could have been wheel spin.

I’m doing pretty well for myself, I achieved a cornering force of 0.99 G

and drivability is somewhere 54-59 to give a hint

What about comfort? I can’t get this much without losing a lot of time to comfort penalty.

Just to be sure I’m not getting mad, you are in smaller engine category?

To be honest, I can achieve 1G, but it compromises comfort

I’m also building a 2000cc car in hopes of winning, but I am hitting the 1G on a 2000cc car

Oh I see, I’m on the +2000. Running a 3,4L, there are a lot of drivability penalty from wheelspin in my build, for the cornering the max that I can get without losing comfort is 0.95, problably due to weight limitations. I’ve tried some differents concepts, maybe I didn’t saw something on the mid/rear design, but my car is around 52/48 weight balance with front/mid, what I lose on wheelspin I gain in braking.

I see. Personally, I have some skill and real-life experience in tuning suspension. While automation is realistic, the comfort-to-drivability ratio is somewhat lacking.

sup everyone, can someone help me? i was creating a 850cc sports for the competition, but im having a bug where my exhaust pipe seems to just go to space whenever i try to connect it with the fixture, does anyone know how to fix this?

Snatched photo of a test mule running near Fanella. Several sights of a bare-aluminum sportscar running estensive testing between Fanella and Piancossatto seem to suggest that some local facility is running a test program for a near-ready race car ahead the Mille Monti of this year.

Do you currently have any exhaust fixtures? If so, try deleting all of them and restarting the game. After that, attempt to place them again.

doesn’t seem to work at all, i’ve removed all exhaust fixtures, placed them again, im suspecting it might be a body model bug.

Scroll through the fixtures list on the left. You likely have a wayward fixture off at 0.0.0 that is causing the issue. If not, reselect your engine in the engine selector.

That is insane, any tips to your 0.99g magic aside from simply playing with toe ? Can’t get above 0.9-0.91 on my end
