fucking unrealistic, my bowling says that it go to 1227 kmh and it knocked no pins, at that speed it can destroy the entire machine or even destroying the place
Psst hey, if you get these two mods it should fix a lot of the ugly default red paint on a few people’s cars. May need to reimport them after installing but idk.
This is completely insane, but I love the whole bowling idea behind that last bit
good idea terrible execution
The bowling was a really fun idea. I like it!
I believe both vehicles are of correct size and that length shown in game is valid reference
I do not have .car files for either, but i felt that both complaints you have could be solved by some research on whether or not their size makes sense
Hopefully, you and others that encounter it find this useful.
Was never meant to be compared to VW Caravelle
and it is no surprize it is not as big as that
If you, however, must compare it to car that exists in real life there are options.
First generation of Renault Espace was…not a big vehicle
Same for first generation of Chrysler Voyager
Despite the claim that Escapade is 1998 model, it did seemed to me like very 80s vehicle
Volkswagen van/MPV of era was third generation of Transporter (or in other words, T3).
Again, not exactly big
Caravelle you originally noted as reference is based on fifth generation of Transporter
Maybe some VCV would rival that…just not this particular one
As noted above, there are two issues with this car
Bicycle wheels in general have quite big diameter, which is this 660 mm or 66 cm figure you are noting.
I have several complaints:
-How do you know that bicycle wheel you are using for comparison actually happens to be 66 cm?
If measured with ruler, i guess you could be sure. Im not certain on whether or not bike fixtures avaiable would happen to match that size by default and upscaling that might be…tricky.
Even then, you dont need to have supremely tiny car for it to not be able to fit such wheel
Wheel size of this car is 580 mm or 80 mm smaller than bike wheel you refer
I have not really aimed at matching Lada Riva in length, but i do match Lada Riva in length
That is not big car, i admit but it is not small either.
-How you determined adult can not fit in car?
I suggest using this mod as useful reference:
Steam Workshop::Crash Dummy [4.27]
while making car or judging like in this case.
Unlike people used in your pictures, these are fixtures in game, meaning you can put them in car while designing
(Feel free to note i did put some of them in that blue car i listed as reference for tire size)
Hell, feel free to download that specific car i used as reference
SR2023_-MrdjaNikolen-_Saguaro_T-REE_2000_Wagon.car|attachment (50.6 KB)
and check that there are some crash test dummies in it.
Im not sure if body would allow wheels going to 660 mm diameter, but you can try that too.
They are in same section in which you would find:
-Windshield wipers
-Ruler
-Roof racks
All things above listed as examples, just so you do not try to search for them in Headlights, Bumpers, Interior, 3D and other such categories
Some of them stand, others sit. Ones that sit might be good reference for fitting in car; we stand in bus or in back of big van to move stuff out of it.
Mrdja is right about the Escapade.
What?
oh shit i thought this was CSR158 and the van it thought is also in CSR158
Adding to this, the Primus is on the E-type body, and while I don’t know what size it’s using, the E-Type is a notably small car even by 60’s standards.
I mean, the F-Type isn’t exactly a big car, yet look at this, it dwarfs the E-Type.
Well, if you claim that the proportions are correct, then the path to the best positions is definitely closed to them.
Comparing Escapade with Renault Duster, I am absolutely right, since its length is 430 cm or 169 inches. This is a big drawback since he was able to place 3 rows of full - sized seats there.
As for Iratus, its wheelbase is so small that it is only 180 cm. I ride a bicycle in which the wheelbase is 109 cm, and this is considered very tiny, even for the bicycle.
And about the proportions, then you can do a lot of things approximately. Are you playing Automation for the first time? Have you still not developed an eye estimation?
Knowing the exact dimensions of the Iratus wheel, I reduced the bicycle wheel to the same size to get accurate proportions. And this is still too much large, since according to accurate measurements, the wheel of 26 inches has a tire of 64 cm.
So I will considering Escapade - Renault Duster, and Iratus - Lada 2109, which has a length of 401 cm. I know this car perfectly, and how inconvenient is to sit in it.
These are the final results of the winner distribution.
Expect reviews about the conceptual intentions of the models. This will uncover additional details and for what I liked each model.
The exact ranking of the models will be also illustrated later.
Checking the solidity of the concept and how it suits my character.
Highlighting the main priorities:
My expectations for cars were as follows:
My conceptual idea: a list of passable directions:
A car for an Aristocrat
Urban convenient mega popular personal transport
Festival Ornate Cool Van or Minivan
Brutal offroader – a car for derby competitions
A fictional concept – just how much I liked it
Pony car. As an approximate sample , the Ford Mustang boss 302 was laid down
Explanation to each definition:
In the car for the aristocrat, the best solutions should have been applied, which would have been qualitatively thought out and adapted to the realities of that time.
Urban compact hatchback, station wagon or subcompact minivan, with a spacious interior that the main developer of the game likes, it suits me very well too. We had to build something very realistic to win in this direction. Something that was as popular as the Volkswagen Beetle and the Volkswagen Golf.
The development of vans was originally a tricky task. The participants had to guess that I don’t like vans, since they instilled fear in my criminogenic places in my childhood. A long story was built on this, which I will not tell here.
Therefore, creating a van concept, it was necessary to follow two main directions:
Festival, cool, joyful and cheerful appearance, with bright coloring and transparent windows – this is exactly what thieves and bandits do not like.
Nonintrusive standard appearance, with glossy paint.
Also, I would not refuse to use a powerful motor, medium suspension, and a plush interior – as an entertainment environment, which would set a calm tone.
When you developing an offroader, it was necessary to make it wealthy to participate in races and other derby competitions, such as the ground figure eight, dirt track, cross country, king of the mountain, simply collisions, rallies, passing checkpoints.
A fictional concept. It was just necessary to think up something interesting, without much reference to realism, and where it would come in handy.
Choosing between a pony car and a Ferrari, I would choose a pony. An important difference between a pony and a muscle car is that it should be better controlled, with more focus on comfort. Therefore, such old-school options as Charger R/T would not be considered at all for the role of a winner. I am not one of those who is pumped up, walks in a blue short visor, likes a handwatch, black sunglasses or grows a beard.
Therefore, the choice of displacement and the giving out recoil here would be traced with great attention.
To successfully passing the challenge, it was necessary to follow the following keys, which I wished:
Code keys for entry:
— Б – Brutal
— А – Anti - Bandit
— А – Anti- Aggressive
— Э – Elite
— Л – is the best
— Д – Available
— П – Festive
— Д – Derby - Tractor
— П – Pony car
— К – Winged
— С – Balanced
— Р – Realistic
— Р – Joyful
Expect the following reviews on these criteria!
Then there will be a direct evaluation of each car!
My loving Car
Game number 5: Part 1/12
1954
Concept: Van – carrier of vegetables, fruits and clothes
Style: miniaturism.
At least 9 incorrect solutions for the image being created
Its calm and even character is suitable as a means of transportation for vegetable traders in the market. Each leaving is a whole epopee. It’s still good if nothing breaks. Because otherwise, the auto will have to be kept close to home, this is clearly not a solution for travel, and it is not a regular deliveryman. For this reason, such a bus can easily be taken in the tropics, steadily accumulating hundreds of thousands of kilometers, because in winter conditions it will be hard on it. And here’s why: and its small engine volume will not allow you to turn on the stove – it will be probably almost would be ever to mess. Besides that, the two-cylinder motor from the motorcycle will emit chirping throughout at the all around. But I liked SAMAG in this – because I like such gizmos, where you have to dig a lot, to find out later, that the construction has worked, and you will noted that in a disciplined control mode, the details are still able to carry their load.
I tested it in Beam, and it turned out that it can reach 90 km/h.
Features: Here is installed swing doors with a banging sound.
The sizes of the details are so small that only qualified service station experts with magnifiers and tweezers can perform repairs. This circumstance makes it necessary to always have an evacuator truck phone at hand.
Answer: It’s too far from what I wanted, so I wouldn’t consider it as an interesting serious variant for purchase.
– I liked the two-cylinder motor from the motorcycle.
– For a 1954 year, a 30 hp engine could be enough, but the traction force developed by it is still too low to load the body more than usual.
– A small corrosion resistance still greatly limits its spread, making the purchase of such a van a profitable solution only in countries with dry and temperate climates.
The what? It’s not from a motorcycle, it’s not two cylinder. Two-stroke, built for cars. Like Wartburg, or old Saab. Or Barkas and DKW F1000, for a more similar example.
And yeah, lore-wise this engine was the main issue of the van, but the company had no better unit available And I think that I could’ve made the van smaller, it would make more sense with that tiny engine.
Since the game doesn’t have two cylinder nor two stroke engines, what did you actually submit? I wonder where this all came from, since your ad didn’t mention anything about the van’s specs. It is just some poorly tuned and under powered I3?
A 1.0 I3, pushrod IIRC. It isn’t poorly tuned IMO, at least not intentionally, just extremely simple and cheap. And I repeat, it’s not meant to represent a two cylinder engine, but a two-stroke I3.
