More Engine Features

I wander if it is possible to built a much bigger 4 cylinder engine. For example i wanna built a 4 cylinder that is 8 or 9 litre (488.19 - 549.21 CI) that runs at 250 - 850 rpm Instead of building a 6 cylinder. This can be useful for big trucks. Ex. Packard Model 30, Hino Ranger. And is possible to reduce the rpm limit because you can’t go lower than 2000 rpm.

And i wander if their will be Roller Bearing Crankshaft? (Honda and Porsche use this on their production cars). This will be cool for building sport cars.
Also i wander if you can add Ex. Honda’s CVCC System and Exhaust Gas Recirculation since those reduces the emissions from carbureted engines.
Also a Eccentric Rod driven camshaft? (NSU used this on the NSU Prinz.) This makes the engine compact.
And Can You Add Like Small Sports Cars from like the 60’s Ex. Honda S800, Toyota Sport 800, MG, Austin-Healey, Triumph, Fiat.
And Also Sleeve Valve and Rotary Valve.

If you add anything to the engine designer it should be cylinder liners.

As far as I know the options would be spray on and iron, cast iron doesn’t need liners but aluminum and it’s alloys do. I’m sure there’s a few other types.

There is a search function on this forums, had you used it, you would know that the engine designer won’t have any more features added.
Most of these would only make the game too complicated, for no real reason.
This is a game afterall, not an engine simulator.

The engine designer has been feature locked.

We’d rather focus on more important parts of the engine designer, like more engine configurations, better turbo tech etc.

Well you’re awfully late to the party.

hahaha I see posts like this and just think to myself

beware the steam update is coming!

like really though think of all the guys going to be making posts just like this one…

regardless, to the OP thanks for supporting the game, but sadly the engine designer is locked until V1.0 is finished which will likely be about a years time.
