2.0, we loose far more to transmission losses than a normal car, those wide van gears, low ratio diff and the high angle CV joints all soak up a lot of power, never mind the big knobbly tyres too.
It was loosing nearly 20% the last time it was dyno’d with the RX8 motor in - 50bhp lost by the time it got to the wheels.
Fortunately a lot of those losses will stay the same or pretty similar even with another 100bhp, so instead of having ~218 at the wheels, we should be around 310+ish so it’s a lot bigger difference than the flywheel figures of 268>360+ suggests
It’ll be biased about 75:25 acceleration:decelleration on the ramps, fairly light preload as we need enough spring travel to compensate for a fair amount of pack wear (the fiddle brakes eat the clutch packs in diffs)
your MX-5 that what requires a human sacrifice so you can get it to start…how Aztec is that…or was that Mayan which one was the gory one (sorry this is going off topic and its nearly 3:30am so I am shattered…so cut me some slack PLEASE!)
