I just have to say first that I love the game and I see a crazy bright future for this game! you guys are doing a fantastic job!
Something I would appreciate being seen in the full version of the game is the ability to bring the car into different scenes, to take a photo shoot of the car … with zoom function and adjusting angle, Forza Motorsport is an greate eksample… with another rendering function that performs rendering in higher resolution than the screen resolution, with anti-aliasing and better reflection … And the ability to import your own JPG panoramic image for only being reflected by the car in the scene, and to be able to save the images in PNG with Transparent Background, or with green background or what ever color you like, and maby the ability to turn the wheels or apply motion blur to the wheels so it looks like the wheels are spinning … that would be a amazing tool for making really awesome pictures of cars, maby integrate it with som kind of a online community portal part inside the game
but the ability to import JPG of your own panoramic image for reflection purpose and a simple way to place your own lightning\sun in the scene would be a awesome function for the one that wants to place the car in a real scene or some custom photoshoping i would love that !
and a way to not confuse the one that wants to photoshot the car in a simple way, hide the advanced futures as standard and make it emerge when you push a “Advanced” button
Maybe implementing just the basic idea, after finishing your design, you need to take a picture of the car so it can be used as a marketing picture for that car and you get a news header of Automation Times/Magazine showing your car on the frontpage, with the public rating for this car.
The spinning wheels and such is hard to do. but different backdrops (around 10 or 20) should be doable and possible. This way you can take a backdrop that fits the type of car you are trying to sell (SUV on terrain, luxury sports near a nice modern area, etc.)
I dont see anything wrong with this after all KillRob is a near professional photographer but its an absolutely brilliant idea! it should be added to this game!
if you do get to that Stage Daffy, Fly KillRob to Australia and get him to take some beautiful Landscape shots I would do that for him because after all he is a professional photographer (well almost)
Or how about a road
ModEdit:Pic Removed
Model a road in 3D with some bushes behind, and do the landscape around simple with for the most of picture layers placed in different places =)
makes it possible to turn around the car and make your own angels
Mod Edit: Please dont quote pictures… especially if they are right before your post
U say model? That picture comes straight off the internet! haha!
Its not that easy as you make it sound to make a bit reasonable landscape that doesnt go over 100Ks of polygons.
Though, a picture like that could make it easy getting textures in as detail, but we would need pictures that aren’t copyrighted and we are allowed to use.
Not a nightmare actually to program. You could just have a directory where the images are located and drag them in there before starting up the game.
But finding GOOD pictures as a player is the issue, as gettings your car to line up with it will be a hard time.

I was worried that this would be the case. Maybe if the player positioned the car and aligned it with the background, however if you look at the other environments (rooms) they are all 3d models, So the photoshoot room would also need to be A 3d environment for a good affect.at this moment in time it is probably better to just photoshop The images, But the developers need to add a feature to turn off the lighting Which would add effect when using Photoshop.
But then, of course, without the girl, but with titles like “The brand new [CARNAME] with 2.0L Turbo, we tested it!” Or something like that. We could make up things.
The next step, which requires more work but could just be that little extra, is designing (3D) an evironment, like a mountain pass with real sharp curves, or a gravel road which you can place your car on in any position, rotate it etc. If there is about 5 environments to choose from, like mountains, long straight road, silent back road, dirty road and motorway, it would be a nice start
