I am curious about my entry being the only one in this round where you shared numerical data from the car in the review.
The review for your car was written almost a week ago and the rest were written today. I guess I had more time then hence why review for your car is more detailed.
I believe there is a mistakeâmy car wasnât eliminated in the first round. I would like a recount to correct this oversight.
Brindley Falcon 2.0T
This car boasts decent drivability, prestige, and very high safety standards, ensuring a comfortable ride. However, it lacks sportiness and has below-average fuel economy. The design appears somewhat overcomplicated, and while the shape is nice, it might come across as a cheaper car dressed up as premium. The green color is a letdown; black or silver could be better alternatives. - not considered
Shenhua Tanto
This car boasts great proportions and a simple yet appealing design. It excels in fuel economy, sportiness, and reliability, with above-average safety features. The low service costs of $987 and tax exemption add to its appeal. However, drivability and comfort are not its strongest points, additionally, it doesnât feel tightly screwed together. The dual clutch 8-speed gearbox allows for low RPMs at higher speeds, making it suitable for cruising and overtaking⊠- not considered
Hydrion Mako 424
The carâs rear design and body molding are unappealing, while the front appears disproportionate with large wheel wells and small wheels. On the positive side, it offers reasonable service costs, okay comfort, decent drivability, and high safety standards. However, fuel economy is a drawback with high RPM at cruising speeds, making the car excessively loud and uncomfortable environment to be in. Overall, itâs a mixed bag with both strengths and weaknesses. - not considered
RĂ©gal C418 Carbon Edition
The excessive use of carbon in some areas and oversized wheels create an extreme look, making the side profile appear strange. The rear design, except for the middle exhaust, is passable, while the front could benefit from toning down. Overall, the car seems to be trying to be something itâs not. On the positive side, the car offers low service costs and is exempt from emissions tax. It boasts high reliability, very comfortable interiors, a decently prestigious feel, and a sporty driving experience with good fuel efficiency. However, the suspension tune is off, and the rear design doesnât match the front, leading to a less than desirable overall appearance. The design issues might be the reason why it falls short of being a finalist. - not considered
Romanum Fortuna 2.0EDi
The service costs are on the higher side (totaling $1300), and the carâs drivability could use improvement, lacking a sporty feel behind the wheel. Moreover, its reliability has a somewhat stained record, and the RPMs on cruise could be lower to enhance the driving experience. Despite the negatives, the car boasts an attractive appearance, with a pretty and premium feel, lovely chrome accents, and an overall coherent design. The only downsides mentioned are that it doesnât feel quite up-to-date for a 2023 model, resembling more of a 2018 car, and that the grille could be smaller. not considered
This concludes the prefinals phase. Finalists are: @the-chowi, @Texaslav, @forgetadaydream, @Riley, @Tsundere-kun & @SayokiN
As always seeing a ping and expecting to be out in this round, but the car is through! Good luck to the other finalists.
Thanks for good concise reviews with fair criticisms so far
Tahama Artisan 200 A-package
The car exudes an undeniable charm with its handsome looks and perfect proportions. The distinctiveness of its design is further accentuated by the eye-catching yellow color, adding to its originality. Though a true stunner, I canât help but wish the rear lights were slightly smaller to enhance its overall appeal. However, what truly sets this car apart is its exceptional value for money. At a whopping 7 grand cheaper than most competitors, itâs a steal. The performance stats hold their ground, ensuring a reasonable level of competitiveness. Moreover, it surprises with commendable comfort and safety records within its price point. Nonetheless, a few flaws do arise. The RPMs tend to remain high even with 8 gears, hinting at possible fuel inefficiency during cruising. Additionally, questions arise about its reliability under average fuel economy conditions, warranting some consideration before purchase. In conclusion, this car is a delightful package with stunning aesthetics, solid performance, and a competitive price point. Just a few tweaks could elevate it to greatness.
Waldersee Ritter K25 Premium
The car impresses on many fronts, showcasing its versatility with exceptional efficiency, reliability, and minimal service costs, along with the added perk of tax exemption. Its comfort levels are top-notch, complemented by a plethora of modern gadgets that add a touch of prestige to the driving experience. When behind the wheel, the car exudes a sporty vibe, making every drive enjoyable. Regrettably, the only drawback lies in its unexciting design. While the wide arches and vibrant color choices add a hint of spice, the overall appearance remains rather mundane, blending in with the sea of ordinary cars on the road. Nevertheless, this car is undoubtedly a well-rounded performer that ticks most boxes with ease. From efficiency to comfort, it excels in every aspect. For those seeking a reliable and efficient ride with all the bells and whistles, this car is a worthy choice, even though its design might not turn many heads.
Menschen Zermatt MSE
The car falls somewhere in the middle of the aesthetics spectrum; not stunningly pretty, but not an eyesore either. Its short overhangs on both ends add to its overall balanced appearance. The front looks fine, yet thereâs an underlying feeling that something could be improved. The rear design seems confused, as if it started as a coupe SUV but ended up as a standard SUV, resulting in a somewhat wonky look. Nevertheless, the lights and other details are nicely executed, creating a cohesive design. As a whole, this car is decent, offering satisfactory comfort and a reasonable level of sportiness for a FWD SUV. Its low emissions also exempt it from extra taxes, which is a plus. However, it lacks advanced active safety technology, which is a notable drawback in todayâs market where safety features are highly valued. Despite this shortcoming, it remains a generally competent choice for those seeking a practical and eco-friendly SUV.
not gonna comment on how half of the cars in the finals are yellow
Zephorus 256
The car excels in comfort, claiming the title of the most comfortable car on the test. Its ease of driving and high safety standards make it a reliable choice. The interior is adorned with luxurious components, enhancing its prestigious appeal. However, there are notable downsides to consider. The fuel economy is horrendous, rendering it impractical for those conscious of their environmental impact. With only 4 seats, it lacks the practicality of more traditional sedans, which may limit its appeal for families or larger groups. The colossal 4.2L V8 engine comes with high taxes, making it extremely inefficient for those covering significant distances annually. Aesthetically, the futuristic American look may be a matter of personal preference, but the overabundance of piano plastic in the front design is a significant drawback for some. Despite its allure in comfort and luxury, the carâs shortcomings in fuel efficiency and design decisions may deter potential buyers who prioritize practicality and eco-friendliness.

Valheimmer A20s
The car garners high praise on multiple fronts, making it an absolute delight to drive. It effortlessly combines ease of handling with a rewarding driving experience, delivering a comfortable ride that is also good value for money. Its engine boasts bulletproof reliability, giving drivers peace of mind, and the array of advanced modern safety technologies ensures high safety standards, further adding to its appeal. The carâs prestigious image adds to its overall charm. On the downside, service costs tend to be on the higher side, which might be a consideration for budget-conscious buyers. While the car impresses in many aspects, the fuel economy could be improved to meet the expectations of some eco-conscious consumers. Nevertheless, the car earns the title of âabsolutely perfectâ with its flawless proportions, aggressive yet contemporary design that strikes the right balance, and overall excellence that leaves little to be desired. A top-notch choice for those seeking a truly exceptional driving experience.
Congratulations to the finalists and everybody who participated. Hope you enjoyed making your entries and that my reviews were inightful and pleasent to read. Till the next time - vouge
Kudos to Vouge for the quick yet detailed reviews for each car! Unfortunately, me and SayokiN would not be able to host the next QFC so weâll have to pass the torch to someone else.
It was certainly a gamble. I liked that you found a use for each car even if it wasnât the âwinningâ one. Congrats to all and great challenge.
Congrats to all! This was a good challenge and my first one too, though as much I wouldâve loved to host the next QFC, Iâd have to pass because something urgent came up this week (sorry!). And with that, Iâll pass the rights as host to the next person.
Great review work by vouge. As always, sorry I couldnât put on a better show with the design work.
Canât put the next QFC on, either; life promises to be busy the next several weeks, and I would be unable to release reviews within the required time frame. Iâm still not done with CSR.
I was confused by this at first, but I think you mean the headlights. Those, and the ankle height bonnet edge are probably illegal in 2023. #TooWedgy
Iâll have to pass on hosting as well, sadly.
If the entire top 5 is unable to host, there should also be a comprehensive ranking of all the other entries from sixth place on down.
Iâm able to host so Iâll have a round up in a day or two.
