how do I find Maximum Cost? I’m new to this one-off car designing.
Check the Statistics section of the Overview tab, and you’ll find it in the bottom-right corner of the stats sheet.
I don’t think I see an “Overview” tab. I see a “Detailed Statistics” section along the bottom of the screen when I’m in the edit mode for my car, but I don’t see any total cost in there.
May be a bit late to ask, but will vehicle performance (0-62, quarter mile, lat g) be factored into scoring?
most if not all challenges use the approximate cost (the bottom price on the rightmost column, highlighted in the screenshot I attached) on the statistics page in the summary tab
OH! I finally found it. Thank you. I created a winner, but it’s $40k!! YIKES!
(please ignore the no texture badges)
2003 Ikeda Stellaria 2.5 t VVi Neo
Trying to fit a bigger, D-segment saloon here. In Ikeda’s early 2000s naming convention “t” stands for “touring” rather than turbocharging - basically the equivalent to ST, GSi and Type S nameplates elsewhere.
And honestly, I don’t think this needs a turbo - the 2.5 litre inline 5 makes around 190hp and is very rev happy while consuming less than 9 litres per 100km
The spec pictured has a 5-speed manual, but you could also have it with an auto
Some edits have happened and now it’s fully finalised!
Design-wise I added some badges, however on the technical side there was a lot of tinkering in order to keep this under the budget cap
