RCAERO thread

Welcome to RCAERO, or Random Cars and Engines in Random Order.

I’ll just be posting whatever i create that seems worthy of being shared, or fun stuff, etc.

Enjoy !

Here’s my attempt at a 300+ mph Hypercar, the Arrow LongTail 300+ (didn’t bother to find an original name).

Specs:
Suspension: Pushrod F/R Gas mono-tube active sport setup
Chassis: Carbon monocoque w/ carbon body
Engine: 4.5L TTV8 > 1.470hp (10k rpm)
Transmission: RWD 7 speed dual clutch
Brakes: 6F/3R Carbon ceramic brakes (380/345mm)
Top speed / 0-100: 491kmh / 2.5s
1/4 mile: 8.82s
Weight: 1.560kg

With its very slippery, minimalist appearance (no side intakes!) that blends elements of various modern McLarens and the GMA T.50/T33, and an immensely powerful engine mated to a rapid-fire DCT, this is one of the best-looking (and best-performing) hypercars I’ve seen since the introduction of the 4.27 open beta build.

Thanks man ! That’s really nice of you!

I did take a lot of visual elements from the speed tail/t50.

I’d like and try to push the car with a quad turbo v12, just to see if it can reach even higher.

As said previously, I tried to fit a beefier engine in the LongTail.

The engine on this model is a 5.2L Quad Turbo V12, pumping out almost 1.600hp, still mated to a 7speed dualclutch.

Top speed: 305mph (491 kmh)

Visually, not much has changed. A more agressive front splitter was fitted, and exhausts were moved to the top of the engine cover. An aerobrake was designed, too. Indicators were also moved, as space to fit them was freed up by exhausts.

That’s more like it - does the V12 trim really have quad turbos? Anyway, I prefer the looks of the V12 version, what with its top-exit exhausts and dual airbrake system.

Might have to edit the post because I found out that even if they create a bit more turbo lag, twin turbs are really sending it compared to quad ones.

I’m still a fan of the standard exhaust system but I get you

Here’s the longtail’s little sister.

The Arrow Folgore may be more tame, it still received the same attention to detail as the LT.

Specs:
Suspension: Double Wishbone F/R Gas mono-tube active sport setup
Chassis: Carbon monocoque w/ partial alu body
Engine: 3.5L TTV6 > 665hp (8k rpm)
Transmission: RWD 7 speed dual clutch
Brakes: 4F/2R Carbon ceramic brakes (350/295mm)
Top speed / 0-100: 380kmh / 2.8s
1/4 mile: 10.5s
Weight: 1.485kg

Arrow Folgore GT3 DTM

Based on the Folgore, this DTM spec car is equipped with a very special engine.

Specs:
Suspension: Pushrod F/R adaptive dampers with active race setup
Chassis: Carbon monocoque w/ fiberglass body
Engine: 2L T-I4 > 580hp (10k rpm) > for weight and regulation reasons
Transmission: RWD 7 speed dual clutch
Brakes: 6F/3R Carbon ceramic brakes (360/310mm)
Top speed / 0-100: 300kmh / 2.7s
1/4 mile: 10.02s
Weight: 1.138kg

the renders don’t look great unfortunately, even with RTX…

Also, here’s my best work (yet) in terms of speed and power. Clarkson would be proud.

The Arrow Exera was created to beat records, so a record beating engine was created.

The aesthetics might not be the most advanced I’ve posted, but the numbers are quite something.

Specs:
Suspension: Pushrod F/R adaptive dampers with active sport setup
Chassis: Carbon monocoque w/ carbon body
Engine: 8L 4T-V12 > 1860hp (8k rpm)
Transmission: RWD 7 speed dual clutch
Brakes: 6F/3R Carbon ceramic brakes (330/310mm)
Top speed / 0-100: 520kmh / 2.5s (323mph)
1/4 mile: 8.7s
Weight: 1.450kg

(Had troubles again with the renders. If someone is really good at taking pictures ingame, please dm  )

@abg7 I think you might like that one

Thought I’d give my own twist on the NAV12 track-only racecar.

The Arrow Vigore

Specs:
Suspension: Pushrod F/R passive dampers with active sport setup
Chassis: Carbon monocoque w/ carbon body
Engine: 6L NAV12 > 760hp (8k rpm)
Transmission: RWD 7 speed dual clutch
Brakes: 6F/3R Carbon ceramic brakes (365/335mm)
Top speed / 0-100: 370kmh / 2.9s (230mph)
1/4 mile: 10.02s
Weight: 1.215kg

Also here’s V2: bigger wing and quad exhausts for better engine airflow.

Arrow Vigore Stradale

The road going version keeps the same technical prowesses as the track variant, but tones it down and suits up with some mandatory equipment.

It’s also equipped with an engine better suited for the road.

(that last render has some weird bug (exhaust/taillights)…

Specs:
Suspension: Pushrod F/R passive dampers with active sport setup
Chassis: Carbon monocoque w/ carbon body
Engine: 4L TTV8 > 920hp (10k rpm)
Transmission: RWD 7 speed dual clutch
Brakes: 6F/3R Carbon ceramic brakes (350/320mm)
Top speed / 0-100: 399kmh / 2.5s (247mph)
1/4 mile: 9.31s
Weight: 1.317kg

I know, I’ll try a different body next time

Anyways, here’s the Arrow Excelsior, a limited-run (30 cars) supercar based on the Longtail.

Specs:
Suspension: Double wishbone F/R active dampers with active sport setup
Chassis: Carbon monocoque w/ carbon body
Engine: 4.5L TTV8 > 1408hp (8.5k rpm)
Transmission: AWD 7 speed dual clutch
Brakes: 6F/3R Carbon ceramic brakes (380/345mm)
Top speed / 0-100: 460kmh / 2.3s (285mph)
1/4 mile: 9.19s
Weight: 1.500kg

It may not be as fast as the 300+ it’s based on, but it trades speed for luxury.

Finally something different !

Arrow Ardente.

Big family sedan with real Arrow genes.

It trades the big V8 for a TTV6, and the carbon monocoque for 5 luxurious seats.

Suspension: Double wishbone F/R active dampers with semi-active suspension
Chassis: Aluminium chassis with partial alu panels
Engine: 3L TTV6 > 485hp (7.2k rpm)
Transmission: AWD 8 speed adv. automatic
Brakes: 6F/3R ventilated discs (350/280mm)
Top speed / 0-100: 310kmh / 5s (192mph)
1/4 mile: 13.7s
Weight: 1.944kg

hey bro, I’m trying to make a car of my own using the same body as your Vigore Stradale, but for some reason the aerodynamics is messy and the car loses control even at slow speeds. Sure it’s a mid engine car but it basically spins out all the time and it’s practically undrivable. Do you have any tips, like undertray, suspension etc, anything that can make it drivable?

thanks in advance!

If you want, I can send you the .car file so you can experiment for yourself if that helps

yeah sure, that will do! thank you!!

Here you go, be sure to lmk what you end up with !

thanks but, how do I use a .car file? Does it go in those export files in automation?
Edit: nevermind, found a youtube video for that. thanks.

Locate the folder where your exported cars go. Then, go back one folder and select “CarImportFolder”. You should just be able to import the car through there. be sure to have every mod up to date on the game though, as I use a lot of them
