Saminda Motor Co - 1 Million RE Series 1.5 Turbo Engines Recalled Due to Overheating Risk

G’day Star how r you? Would you by chance have any very early Saminda cars that you would sell to myself for my classic car collection?

if C2000R is really RWD hatchback, and if it will have 300 hp power range then it’s quite suitable competition for my Xy GT (eventually GTS)

Now this latest announcement gives me more hope for this struggling brand. A new rear-drive platform for mass-market passenger cars is something that they have not tried in ages, and could even be used to spawn several new distinct models.

Do anybody realise more and more Saminda are bulit in other country instead of Japan which is their home country?

Having been to Japan, it’s hard to get production plots for MASSIVE factories. Those in Japan have been there since the early 20th century. Not much space for new things these days.

Easier for Japanese companies to go overseas for production.

Saminda Kirei

Engine : I Series (NON i-VIC , 3 Cylinder) , I06F

[quote]The Saminda Kirei is a kei car produced by Saminda for the Japanese market , Government regulations could distort the free market. In Japan, government regulations created a special kind of cars , Kei cars, or light automobiles in official terms. They are limited to 3.4 meters longand 1.48 meters wide, powered by motors no larger than 660 c.c. and produce no more than 64 ps, compared to normal cars they are benefited by lower tax rates, license fees and insurance

Compared with other K-cars, the baby Saminda is noticeably more refined and better built. Its chassis feels generally stiffer. Its sound insulation is more effective. Its interior is made of classier materials and assembled in away more like bigger cars.

Time for my monthly foray into Automation’s most thoroughly immersed car company thread.

Re: PonQi, looks like channeling the QashQai, right down to the weird naming schemes that nobody can ever pronounce. Not sure if I like the idea, but it does look cool, and it probably will shift a lot of units.

Re: CZ7 one off concept, I dare somebody to make that a thing. Ouroboros will be waiting ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

PonQi is actually a chinese pronouciation , the car is designed by Wei Shen chief designer for Wuhan Saminda and Guangzhou Saminda who is also responsible for cars like Zies and CR-e , although the PonQi is bulit in Japan.

C2000R is a good start for us to expand more RWD drivetrain , we might expand to Auxuras brand , but wont expect too soon.

Saminda CZ7, if it will ever become a thingy, would be ruined by electric shit ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
