Saminda Motor Co - 1 Million RE Series 1.5 Turbo Engines Recalled Due to Overheating Risk

#2017 Saminda C2000R caught testing in Nurburgring.

The 2017 C2000R was caught around yesterday and it was still in cloth-skinned armadillo testing on public roads and around the Nurburgring

Rumors suggest that the C2000R will use the same 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine that can be found in the Type-R but with electric motors and will generation over 350BHP.

Unlike the previous C2000R that is bulit in Japan , the newer version will be develop and manufacture in Swindon UK

Looks good but why do i have a feeling that Saminda will sell the C2000R in the States but will slap a Auxuras badge on it and put a heavy price tag.

The C2KR will not be sold in North America , only Europe and Japan (Imported from UK) will get it.

Ah, so us Americans get more FWD cars with faulty ignitions. I see how that works.

Yay for the 15 year Import rule.

Aww why? Meanwhile Dimension here is really enjoying a monopoly on the sports compact market in the US.

Jeez you guys are no fun.

But ya know Airbornes are sold in US and we have a sporty compact yeah?

(you can buy them in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Miami)

Well uh we compete in the sporty compacts segment, but the C2000R is a bit faster than an average sports compact, which puts it right in the radar of my 400 hp AWD hot hatch.

Unless Airborne plans to make one too.

Rule of the automation-verse: no matter what your company is or where it is located, always assume that someone has made something crazier.

Too true… I typically have to stay out of company threads to avoid feeling like my designs are a bit boring.

Hah, true. Good that I have a company crazy enough that I don’t see sth crazier around every corner :stuck_out_tongue:

@Deskyx Hey, hey, hey, just wait until I get to modern times
@Starfish94 Wow, the first Saminda I saw that I might really want to drive  (sorry all CZ6 fans…)

330 hp
RWD
non Hyundai body

Hehe

The reason that the C2KR is not available in U.S because the market is not there , we don’t see potential in hatchback selling in the States

C2000R looks brilliant. The hype builds every day!

But oh my, what’s with all this blatant product placement? @Deskyx? @Oskiinus? Even @Darkshine5? Gosh darn guys, how could you do that in someone elses company thread!

Of course if you are looking for a hot hatch and want something that’s still pretty fast, despite being able to achieve 43 mpg and costs about 10k less than anything seen here so far, you could head over here

Hmmm good point I kinda got caught up in the moment. please accept my humble apology and let me get rid of it.

@DeusExMackia y tho

sry @Starfish94

I foresee an excellent future in you as a politician.

@Darkshine5 Nah! No need to apologise, I think some competition in Automation is good and sometimes it pays to let said competition know that you’re there

@Oskiinus 'Twas a bit of psychology, that’s all! Get people to think that you’re good by accusing people of doing something wrong and then doing it yourself.

Actually wait, no, that’s hypocrisy!

@Deskyx What are you suggesting? That politics is full of conning and lies and fooling other people? Impossible!

Then again, I am studying politics at Uni, so thank you very much for your kind words

And now, back on topic; how long until we see the C2000R? The automotive press must be frothing at the mouths waiting for this car.

#Saminda wants the C2000R to be the fastest and the most innovative RWD hot hatch under £40,000

The new C2000R will come in 2017 now as Saminda’s CEO Yuko Nagoya said about the C2000R arrival.

Nagoya said that Saminda aims for the 2017 C2000R to be the world’s fastest RWD hot-hatch car and the most innovative.

Dave Kamper , the chief engineer for C2000R which he is also responsible for the 2014 C4 said " I am very excited to be part of this big project , making the C2000R to be the fastest is not an easy task , but it is not impossible too, our engineers will be working very hard for this and we will do it"

Isn’t bulit in Japan already lost interest for me tbh. but still do have high hopes

Is Saminda still a Japanese company if they keep buliding cars in other country?
