CORSA MF - Sports

The Corsa MF, also known as Corsa MidFun, is a 2-seater mid-engine RWD car designed for the road AND the track. While it can only clear 0-100kph in exactly 5 seconds (1/4 miles in 13.51 seconds), the car is pretty good around the corners and it’s very affordable AND fuel-economic for a sports car.

==Car Spec==

The Sports trim is meant to take on JDMs like GT86, 370Z, S2000, the old NSX, MR-2, etc etc
There is a pop-up trim for the car and it’s called the Corsa MF Classic
The idea for the car was submitted by one of the designers after they downed a bottle of Soju in exactly 5 seconds, don’t ask why
The Supercar trim is named after a Eurobeat by Fastway with the same name and the R-1 stands for Revision-1

CORSA MF - Ministry of Power Edition R-1

An updated version of Corsa MF’s Supercar trim. Aside from a few facelifts, the car is no longer powered by the 2.5L Twin Turbo V10 and instead it is now powered by a 5.0L Twin Turbo V10 and guess what? It has a better Nürburgring track record than the previous version (7:15.84 >>> 7:10.31) and faster 0-100 kph time (2.6 >>> 2.4). Also, the car has been made more fuel economic and now it runs on 95 RON fuel type! The car’s price has also been cut from $77,000 to $49,500!

==Car Spec==

CORSA MF - Sports Turbo

You people asked for it. This is the turbocharged version of the Corsa MF. It has a few facelifts, tweakings on the suspension, and of course, a turbocharger slapped inside it. The car is now pretty much a speed demon at a reasonable price! Zero to 100 kph now happens a second faster than the NA version and it has a better LSD as well! AND better fuel economy! Since the car was developed at the Nürburgring and was also tested at various mountain passes, expect its cornering ability to be even better than before!

Has car named SJ
Sees this
eyesshaking

For real though, how does a car rival the S2k, the MR-2, the GT86, and the NSX all at the same time? And a JDM means a car that is for the Japanese domestic market, so the 370Z, the S2k, and the GT86 aren’t really JDMs

1 Like

It’s an often misused term, I know. By rivaling them I mean in term of specs, obviously, and the price when they were new. Yeah, it may sound stupid to challenge outdated cars (including the non-MR cars) but it does exactly what it is made for. The only thing it can’t rival is the legends of the said cars.

Goblin R-1

The SJ Motor Company’s take on the hothatch society. The Goblin is a practical, family sports car with decent speed and cornering ability. On late 2021, the Goblin received a few facelifts, made more comfortable and its engine has been retuned. There are now three trims for this model:

  1. Type-U

    The Goblin Type-U (Urban) is a family-friendly, fuel economic hothatch. Provided with AWD drivetrain, it has decent traction and fast acceleration (0-100kph in exactly 4.9 seconds). The car seats 5 people which means you don’t have to worry about your significant other getting mad at you for buying this sports car. The new update made the car less pricey, weight less and a bit more powerful at the cost of its fuel economy. Oh, and the rear double wishbones have been replaced by multilink suspensions!

==Car Spec==

Engine: SJ-I4 2.0 Turbo, a 2.0L Inline 4 engine that makes 278hp at 7800RPM w/ rev limit of 8500RPM
Weight: 1466 kg
Length: 3.98 m
Top Speed: 232 kph
Gearbox: 7-Speed DCT
Suspension: Double Wishbone (F) & Multilink (R)
Fuel Consumption: 16.0 km/L
Price: $25,500

  1. Type-R

    The Goblin Type-R (Racer) is the sportier, rallier(?) version of the Type-U and is built to compete against the top-class hothatches like Focus RS, Golf R and Civic Type-R. It seats 1 person less and consumes more gas, but retains all the other practicality of its family-friendly cousin. Don’t worry, you can still drive it like a family sports car! …If you’re not flooring it, that is, since it can accelerate from 0-100kph in 4.2 seconds. Now it has rear multilink suspensions, better fuel economy and less expensive pricetag!

==Car Spec==

Engine: SJ-I4 2.0 Turbo Rally, a 2.0L Inline 4 engine that makes 326hp at 7700RPM w/ rev limit of 8500RPM
Weight: 1456 kg

Top Speed: 246 kph
Gearbox: 7-Speed DCT
Suspension: Double Wishbone (F) & Multilink (R)
Fuel Consumption: 13.3 km/L
Price: $28,500

  1. Type-R - Forever Young Edition

    A monster hothatch made for the street, the track and the dirt. Now the car can seat 5 people again and is powered a mighty 4.5L V8 instead. Zero to 100 kph happens in 2.8 seconds and it can lap the Nürburgring in 7:35.62 while carrying 5 adults. Several car magazines have stated that this new trim has created a new class of hatchback: Monster Hatch. Did I mention that it retains all the practicality of the other trims as well?

SPADA

Coming out of nowhere without an announcement, Spada is either your family-friendly supercar OR your ultimate Nürburgring track weapon. Using the income from Goblin’s huge success, SJ Motor Company decided that they needed a car, aside from the Supercar Corsa MF, to tackle the Nürburgring like a lightning. And thus, the Spada was born. Currently it has three different trims:

  1. Spada GT-C

    The GT-C trim is a four-seater RWD coupe meant to be the company’s mass-production Supercar. Powered by the SJ-V8 engine, the GT-C can go from 0-100 kph in 4.4 seconds and has the top of speed of 319 kph. Make sure that your children are all buckled up since you’re going to show them how to be the best Dad! Fun fact: It runs on your normal, everyday gasoline!

==Car Spec==

Engine: SJ-V8 4.0 Family, a 4.0L V8 engine that makes 552hp at 8600RPM w/ rev limit of 9200RPM

Top Speed: 319 kph
Gearbox: 7-Speed DCT
Suspension: Double Wishbone (F) and Pushrod (R)

  1. Spada GT-R

    This is the real thing. A 2-seater AWD coupe powered by 5.2L Twin Turbo V12 named “Spectre” that is able to go 0-100 kph in 2.4 seconds and lap the Nürburgring (20,834 meter) in 7:10.01 while also providing numerous Luxury-car infotainment features. Also fun fact: It only needs the 98 RON fuel type, which is less than the R35’s fuel type (100 RON)! In the most recent Gop Tear episode, Ceremy Jlarkson mentioned about the car being the industrialists’ extreme supercar.

==Car Spec==

  1. Spada - The Perfect Hero Edition

    This is the Nürburgring-ish version of Spada. With a few minor facelift here and there, and an upgraded V12 engine, the Spada is back and it’s faster than ever! The new Spada is named after a Eurobeat song by Chris Stanton. It is a limited production car.
    Unlike the GT-R trim, this Spada runs on 95 RON fuel and it is more economical as well. It has the track record of 1:09.28 at the Airfield and 7:04.19 at the Nürburgring. The car was also tested on various “street race courses” such as the Autobahn and Wangan. Zero to 100 kph happens within 2.1 seconds and boy, 80 - 120 kph happens in less than a second! It is fitted with so many high-end infotainment systems as well!

DIAVOLO

Diavolo is a…weird mass production city car by the SJ Motor Company. It is a rear engine RWD 5-door hatchback that seats 5 people, powered by a small, one litre straight-4. The car’s name was derived from its ability to go from 0-100 kph in 6.66 seconds during the initial launch (now it’s 6.43 seconds). It comes in two different flavors: 6-speed DCT and 5-speed Manual.

SJ Motor company decided to make the car for real, going as far as making it unable to play anything but cassettes. The car itself will not be put on sale due to government regulations, and will only be displayed in every SJ Motor Company dealership. It is registered as a car from the 1986.

Currently the company is planning on revamping the original blueprint of the car into a more modern-styled mass-production FR car.

Wow it almost feels like my name has been summoned :eyes: lol

It’s a nice-looking hatchback though, like there’s nothing in the body design (aside from the strangely angled door handles on the Type U) that will make people immediately grab their pitchforks and be angry about. Technical wise, eh, it’s not that bad, but I’m very certain that it has the potential to become better with some more fine-tuning. Still, good work overall!

Thanks for your reply! I can see the angled door handle (which I haven’t fixed when I took the screenshot) and yeah, technical-wise the Type-U’s 2.0 engine has its potential nerfed because it has to have that 17.2 kml fuel efficiency lol

Imp Roadster

The Imp Roadster is a small, RWD roadster made for fun commuting. It seats 2 people and has…140 litre of cargo volume. Yes, it is not a car for a lengthy roadtrip, but hey, at least its performance and fuel consumption make it up for that lack of major practicality! The turbo version of the car can go 0-100 kph in 5.47 seconds and has the top speed of 229 kph; not bad for a car powered by a 1.0L Inline 3! The car comes in 3 different trims: NA, Turbo AND Kei.

SHAPIRO FL MkII R-1

The Shapiro FL MkII is the revamped version of the original Shapiro FL-2 which was designed by the founder of SJ Motor Company back when he was in middle school. It is a two-seater sports car with decent infotainment systems and above-average practicality among other sports cars.

At first, the car was going to released as an AWD-only car, but after a few meetings, a cheaper RWD trim was included. As of now, the car is available in both the 3.4L V6 (AWD & RWD) and 2.6L Inline 6 (RWD only); the 2.0L Inline 4 trim has been discontinued as it doesn’t appeal much to the CEO of SJ Motor Company. The AWD V6 Shapiro can go from 0-100 kph in exactly 3 seconds and clear the Nürburgring in 7:43.69 and the RWD Shapiros are really popular among tuners and the drift scenes. The previous V6 has been revamped to be more economic as well.

==Car Spec==

Engine: SJ-V6 3.4 / I6 2.6, a 3.4 V6 / 2.6L Inline 6 engine that makes:

SHAPIRO FL MkII Déjàvu Edition

This is the supercar version of Shapiro FL MkII. Well, a supercar with the pricetag of $35,000, that is!

No longer powered by the V6 nor the Inline 6, the car is now blessed with the power of a turbocharged 4.5L V10 named Facts & Logic which produces 736hp at 7600RPM! Zero to 100 kph now happens in 2.6 seconds and the car can go around the Nürburgring in 7:21.09! The car still retains all the high-end infotainment systems found in the V6 and Inline 6 Shapiros and is only available in AWD.

The car was developed at the Nürburgring and at various highways throughout the world. The name Déjàvu was given after it reappeared from behind over and over after it had disappeared in front of the drivers, meaning that the car is so fast that it re-entered the highway and overtook the same drivers a few times.

SAVANT

Ah…the Savant. Where should I start?

The Savant is a RWD 5-seater sedan with some luxury and sports elements mixed in it. Right after its reveal at Detroit, the Savant gained much popularity in the taxi industry. Being fun to drive and comfortable for a long drive, the Savant is easily categorized as Luxury Family Sports car.

The Savant has 3 different trims, each named after a coffee serving size; the Grande, Venti and Trenta. The Savant Trenta is equipped with the latest luxury infotainment systems and the latest safety features, making the trim a rival to both the Mercedes S-Class and Genesis G90. The Venti trim shares the same engine as the Spada GT-C, while the Grande trim is the only trim with an inline 6 engine. Every trim runs on regular unleaded fuel.

Currently there are over 10 big countries that decided to switch their main taxi vehicles with the Savant.

ATES GRT

The Ates GRT is a 5-seater AWD street-legal rally car made by the SJ Motor Company. The GRT stands for Grand Rally Tour as the Ates is not only a rally car, but also a Grand Tourer. The car is noted as one of the company’s biggest projects.

The Ates made its debut by crashing (not literally) a rally competition at Giulio Cesare, Argentina. Clad in a spy-shot wrap, the pre-production Ates took over the competition in a flash and left the other rallyists in confusion as they were passed by an unknown rally car. Three weeks after the event, the Ates was finally introduced to the world at a car show and it received a huge applause.

The Ates is equipped with the FRA System, an advanced LSD + Drive Shaft technology that allows the car to drive through various rally terrains as if its driving in an asphalt track. SJ Motor Company has yet to disclose the explanation behind the system and only advised not to tinker with the system or it will shut itself down and the car will simply run like an ordinary street-legal rally car.

The Ates is powered by a 2.5L Boxer-4 engine that has its own quirks as well. The engine’s computer can detect what kind of fuel is being used and will adjust its performance up to 95 RON, in which 0-100 kph can be achieved in 3.8 seconds. The car is also surprisingly loaded with high-end multimedia features, and buyers can have them removed / replaced for cheaper MSRP. The car’s Recaro Sports seats can also be replaced with premium bucket seats for an even lower MSRP.

ATES GRT - The Top Edition

Our ultimate street-legal rally machine. The Ates GRT - The Top Edition is powered by a special V8 engine that has similar technology as the Boxer 4 engine used in the normal Ates, only this time, it can reconfigure itself up to 100 RON. Zero to 100 kph happens in 2.7 ~ 2.9 seconds depending on its fuel and in 100 RON it can go around the Nürburgring in 7:34.60.

The FRA System has been retuned and made more precise. You can practically go in a straight-line through a muddy forest as long as there’s no tree in front of you. However, its habitat is definitely the desert as the car was developed on 5 different deserts across the world, and several other extreme terrains including salt pans. Who needs a heavy-ass 4x4 when you have an Ates GRT?

The car still seats 5 people, although it is now a coupe instead of a sedan. Buyers may choose the option to strip off all the heavy technologies and safety features if they wish or have them replaced with the more simple ones that weight less…and cost less, of course.

The Savant looks pleasing enough, but surely its windshield rake needs to be steeper? It would make the car look much more svelte and less upright.

ATLAS V8

The Atlas V8 is a 4-door rear-engine, RWD muscle car developed by the American branch of the SJ Motor Company. The car was developed at a private dragstrip and the Nürburgring, making the Atlas a car capable of doing both drag race and track race. The car is a 4-seater as well, and it has a decent storage space for a muscle car, making it practical for daily drive. Also, the car runs on regular 91 RON fuel!

The Atlas debuted at a motorshow in Detroit and received mixed reactions from people due to its 4-door design. However, after a demonstration againsts its competitors at the dragstrip, the car quickly gained popularity. It defeated the Mustang GT, Camaro SS, Charger Hellcat AND the Challenger Hellcat! The Atlas can clear a quarter mile in 10.54 seconds, 0-100 kph in 3.1 seconds, the Nürburgring in 7:28.12 and the Airfield in 1:13.10, making it one of the fastest mass production cars up to date.
