This wouldn’t make sense as the cooling required for the engine changes with power. The higher the power, the more cooling is required, which causes additional drag that is added ontop of base value (which is displayed in the body selection screen). The final value can only be shown when the car design is finished, because various decisions change it. So “what you need to know” can’t be figured out before you designed the car.
same reasoning applies to the drag coefficient, making it as useless for precisely the same reason.
but because the body selection doesn’t show width and height, so base Cd is not only as useless, it’s more useless than actual base drag…
So how do you want to know how aerodynamic a body is when choosing one?
