-Add the top speed chart in the transmission tab.
-In the trim tabs, the lap time in a track to look in real time the lap time.
-Piston coating material in the engine tab (for example, nikasil, low friction materials…) to add to the pistons (for example, a low friction lightweight forged piston would be great, because exists in the real life).
-Double injection systems.
Low friction piston coating would be nice. Which other one are you thinking about?
Double injection? You mean the port+direct injection used by Toyota? That would be nice.
I don’t think lap times could be implemented like that, since they only get calculated when you click “start” on the race, and the long tracks (Green Hell) take awhile to calculate.
I do agree on the top speed, and extra piston coatings and injection systems would be nice, though I doubt those are really a priority.
double injection could mean be either the port/direct injection that’s currently used on some cars (VAG,Toyota to name the big ones) but i think they only did that to avoid the carbon build up on the intake valves and particulate matter issues that direct injection alone can cause, or the dual point injection which was like single point injection but with an additional injector that honda ran in the 80’s and 90’s.
Then it’s kind of pointless, it’s heavier, more expensive, and more complex than either port injection or direct injection. the only issues that it improves on over direct injection don’t matter in game.
