Some suggestions from a car historian :-)

Hello!!

A marvellous game, indeed!! CAn’t wait to see the full release!!

My suggestions:

-Starting time in 1890 and not 1946,
-More adequate historical options (drum brakes, SV engines, many more),
-more details regarding the equipment and interior (comfort, safety, etc.) ,
-maybe introduce a list of optional equipmetn/different engines and bodies for one model (e.g. a I4/V6 engines, manual/auto transmissions, 2d/4d bodies, etc)?

Thank you and keep up the great job!!

1: We decided on starting in the 1940s as that’s when the modern style of car manufacturing really started to take off. (bodies without seperate wings, more mass production and less coach building), and so we could focus our efforts on a narrower spectrum of cars and do it right.
2: Drum brakes are coming. Sidevalve might be later, but not for now.
3: We’ll do that by allowing you to make a range of available model versions/trims with different equipment.

Other things that have come to my mind:

-adjusting the wheelbase and track (to some extent),
-small changes to body panels and exterior elements (chrome/plastic trim, shapes of bumpers, windows, etc.)
-mechanical brakes (on top of the already suggested drum),
-engines with 1, 2 and 3 cylinders, also diesel, rotary and 2-stroke,
-flat engines,
-air cooling, water cooling with/without pump,
-gearbox with/without syncromesh on wach gear,
-various types of auto transmission (torque converter, hydraulic clutch, DSG, etc),
-different types of AWD and differential locks,

Keep up the great job!! Can’t wait for the updates!!

Being a car historian, the main thing you do in your job is research things. That means you should be very handy when it comes to using the search function on the forum, but it appears to me that you aren’t. It is there, use it (and historians above all things!). The majority of what you have asked has been answered MANY times

OK, sorry for that, I just wanted to put all the things I thought of in one place. Besides, if a couple of people ask for the same thing, it usually means that the demand for it is significant, and this should make a difference when choosing the direction of the game development.

True, which is why if you search for them, a fair deal of them have already recieved a “yes”, while others have recieved a “no” simply because they require too much research, too much time and have little gameplay benefit in return.
