That is a great time, 6:60.00! hahaha

I edited your updated Blue Oval GT a little and knocked off a couple seconds.

Double post, I know, but I updated my post up top with another car, a proof of concept, which for right now I think is the lowest powered car under the 7:03 mark so far.

I also added my export of @nialloftara’s modified Blue Oval GT above this post.

excellent work. The power to weight ratio is about right on. My first version of an eco Lilith was about 602bhp and 1080kg, which was doing comfortably under 7 minutes (and 6.5L/100km!!!) But of course that was full body CF so it was nearly twice the cost to build (let alone engineer).

I know the simulation isn’t bang on, but this does make the Aventador SV quite impressive, given that even though it has trick AWD and aero, it has 750hp but weighs like 1600kg. We would struggle to get cars that weight get around in under 7 minutes with less than 950bhp.

So, is there a deadline for this or is this a running challenge?

No deadline, just keep churning the ideas out until you want to declare any particular one Canon.

Yeah! Wait for me, I’m still working on mine!

I’m still working on more ideas too, and I also still want to work on my MR car. I have 5 cars so far in my first post, and it looks like my MR car has the most potential of them all. I just need to figure out the best way to balance everything. This challenge is intriguing!

Would a 4/5-Seater get some more time? I’am at 7.09 now

I built a 4 seat van for this challenge that runs a 7:02.05, so yes a 4/5 seater can make the time if tuned correctly.

Edit: Just to try it out @Newtonmeter, I went ahead and made a 5 seat F-AWD sedan with a premium interior, basic infotainment, and a Turbo V8 that does a 6:53.97, although, it only has an 85% markup to be under the 100K budget.

Which body did you use? Hyper M5 like car is definitely an area of interest.

I just updated my top post with it.

This one:

ah yes that’s the most capable of the sedan bodies. The other ones don’t really seem to be up for it, either due to tyre, or dimension limitations, for some strange reason.

I agree. I tuned it with 355s all the way around.

I played with this car, The Problem is the engine Bay, but i like the style, an di think i can do it soon.

I was able to fit a 4.2L Turbo V6 in that body at the most (as an MR), but If you keep it light then you can do it.

i tried to use a bigger engine but this was the maxmimum engine size i could use,I will try it again later. I think in every direktion the limit of space was used. But some dollar are left to increase the performance, with CF body/panel the weight would decrease alot! But the sells price would go above the 100k at 100%
