I’am actually working on steering wheels from 90’s, 00’s and 10’s.
Here’s 2 examples from 90’s Rover.
Now, I’m looking for 00’s & 10’s models. I am opened to suggests. I need a front picture.
P.S. : I am not a fan of super and hypercars so their steering wheels won’t be a top priority.
Is some nice examples from the era, sorry for having kind of a steering wheel fetish…
First gen twin. Not sure if it’s feasible to model contrast stitching, but it would be cool.

Nice work. How hard would it be to model steering wheels with the column and stalks already attached? Trying to line them up perfectly as two separate fixtures is always annoying.
I already add a basic columm to steering wheel . Concerning stalks, it’s a bit long but possible. I could create kind of generic stalks and add it to columms.

Can a Citroen C5 wheel be designed? The center is always in that position, it doesn’t rotate, only the wheel.
Yes, it can, two separate fixtures needed. But Automation fixtures can’t physically move themselves or change shape under normal means. So, is it really interesting?
Maybe in a later update they will get the steering wheel and the front wheels connected for photo scenes.
Perhaps revisit the C5 wheel then.
