rip 7 liter v8 modor (redneck for motor)
@koolkei
You are supposed to send it by a private message. You don’t want your design to be stolen.
i want use the SO FANCEEEEH(with Z32 RCR video sound) EFI but big bodies just make it impossible and more budget cutting only make more dissatisfying result.
in advance should we add the training cost in our total cost or just for consideration since well it add $1000 which a lot
Kudos to @Kubboz on making an ad that feels like it came straight out of an early driving game like Test Drive II: The Duel on an EGA monitor (it’s a spiritual predecessor to the Need for Speed series, by the way, and was made largely by the same developers).
As for my entry, I considered using other bodies, like the large SUV and not-Saab wagon. They were newer, but more expensive, and even when I fitted them with carb-fed engines I realized they would not even have been as competitive as what I ultimately submitted - an off-road truck similar to what @Madrias submitted, but with a greater emphasis on economy.
Thank you. I think it took more time than the car itself, with all the letters being hand-drawn.
i think your car may just be a bit slow
Welp, I have tried to make an AWD estate into an off-roader for this competition, but I’ve only been able to reach a maximum of 33 in the Off Road score, and seeing as Erin have never made such a car required for this competition, I don’t think I’ll be entering.
However, as far as challenges go, this is very very good and the work you’ve put in @Rk38 and @koolkei is exceptional!
why not, there’s already an AWD competitor in the lineup
i thought most would be AWD/4WD
most of the bodies are purple
well that’s the common sense… i thought it would actually only be 4x4. with maybe only 1 or 2 AWD.
i certainly didn’t expect to get an AWD submission so early
well, mine goes against convention, if in the opposite
$11220 + $1000 = $12220 = overbudget.
wanna fix that first?
wait, do ALL injections have the $1000 penalty?
well, you did say you included a lesson. you can use EFI and NOT give lesson, but it’ll be a headache for us mechanics.
You give me the choice between 4x4 or AWD, I’ll take AWD every time. Sure, it’s not quite as good offroad as 4x4, but it’s better at everything else. And as I’d made more than the minimums on Offroad, I thought AWD would be the better choice.
