Failure? Unaffordable
The Miazilla? 17,500@0%
Contrary to many other Smooth cars, this 90’s devil is not the fastest one… but it looks very racey (nope, not a word) and this counts! …and also that it has 343hp… oh and that it’s cheap at $12300
Well I’m counting on being sensible. Like it has EVER paid off.
Sheeyit people, I’m like over here going “I think everybody has more power than I do” but I do have pretty rad fuel economy…
I’m at sub 10L/100km but I don’t think I’ll be submitting either way. Wbu?
How did you get sub 10L what power you got… Then again I’m using AWD and currently have 322bhp with a car with a body effective area of .59m^2 and a fair bit of downforce hmm…
Power’s down to some 360hp or so with like 80kg of downforce… my car is slightly below minimum weight and is also RWD. Err, doesn’t matter either way.
You should submit, the car has some competitive points!
I couldn’t fit all wheel drive with the model I chose, not and keep the quirky (but thirsty) motor. :3
Just a FYI/Warning, a Little Under 11 Hours Remaining (Deadline is 7am EDT, 4am PDT for us North Americans)
What all reliability did everyone manage to eek out?
My engine will be 59.8, so I think my overall reliability is something like 68. Can’t remember, still at work!
I notice some people went with aluminium block and heads… This can save a few kilos but damn it’s pretty costly on engineering time and lose like six points of reliability!
I went that way for the weight savings. Mixing aluminum and iron together was a huge loss in reliability.
It means I didn’t get to fiddle much with sliders.
I managed an engine reliability of 54.4 but my overall is 70something, but I’m revving to 8000+ heh. I’m hoping the extra prestige of the V8 and decent safety score from the higher weight will balance things a little.
#Boss Motorsports is proud to present the Boss Bobcat!
After a brief hiatus, Boss Motorsports is back doing what we do best, providing affordable street cars with an inherent racing spirit. The Bobcat is a little different than our usual output of relatively large muscle cars with a naturally aspirated V8 heart. The Bobcat only displaces about half of what one of our usual works are known for, and the 2.5L I6 is just over 1/3 of the size of the Boss Big Block. But, this smaller Boss powerplant is no kitten.
The 2498cc I6 is ready to pounce with 370 horses at its disposal. That powers the Bobcat to 62 MPH in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of over 170 MPH. This lightweight sports car also comes with a full aerodynamic package helping to pull up to 1.15g on the skidpad. That extra grip allows this nimble car to attack the track, setting a sub-2:15 lap at the ATT. (The street tune is dialed back. A few minor adjustments to the wing angle and rev limiter allows for an even more blistering pace at the cost of fuel economy and minor valve float.)
Boss Motorsports was born out of the desire to race. We make sure all of our products have ample cooling and fade-free brakes for the most aggressive drive. We also make sure not to skimp on safety or creature comforts because we design cars to be driven, not just to look good on paper and in the garage. This great track-day vehicle can be all yours for the small sum of $13,100.00.

I’ll try to have the results up by Sunday, 8 pm gmt.
I’ve already seen a couple of really good and balanced cars, so this will get interesting
Like the design! Looks on point for some hillclimb
