SAME!!!
The Elan was not the only Lotus of that era to share its taillights with another car - the 1988-2001 Lotus Esprit famously used the rear lights from the AE86 Corolla Trueno/Levin, but those were replaced by the S2 Elise’s quartet of round lenses for the final few years of production.
Yes, the Lotus was sold from 1989 to 1995, and Kia from 1996 to 1999.
Unless the Lotus Elan wore those tail lights at some point, it is still fletchy’s turn up to 48 hours after the end of the round. It seems pretty clear that it’s specifically the Kia Elan and not the Lotus Elan.
Oops, for some reason I did remember it as 24 hours. Sorry.
MG Maestro?

Clue 1: This is a replica of a sportier version of the car
Since there’s been no guesses since my last clue this morning…
It uses Torsion Bar Suspension
Peugeot 106 Rallye (replica)?
What almost scares me is that the shade of white felt very much Peugeot…you spend too much time thinking about cars when the shade of white is a clue.
New car will be up when I come home.
Civic 2 estate?
Nope
Vauxhall Cavalier Estate?
Not that either
