TMCC23: The Pair

Game updated

Had a quick look, and it has changed some stats on the one car I got a look at before the update, so if you’ve submitted an entry before now (which is just @Mikonp7 and @IDK158) feel free to resub.

In 1980, Basilio unveiled the car that epitomised their line of sports car: Basilio Tasmania GT6

25 years later, the legend is back.

2005 Basilio Tasmania GT6

3.5-litre V6, 6-speed, all-wheel-drive. approx. $32,000-$35,000.
The nameplate Tasmania is only used in Europe. Elsewhere, including Australia, it is known only as the GT6. Although many still prefer to call it that way.

2002 Valiant Talon 35th Anniversary

The Valiant Talon first launched in 1967 built on Valiant’s compact car platform, offering a high power 350ci engine in a small sporty package.

The fourth generation Talon launched in 1995, and for the final year a special 35th anniversary model was available limited to only 500 cars. This uses the latest iteration of the 350ci engine, now with 323bhp@5500rpm.

The only colour available for the anniversary is “blue flame” , with polished light cast 18" alloy wheels

The interior for the anniversary is light tan leather with leather touches on the doors and steering wheel. The gear knob is polished walnut in a playful throw back to the classic option in 1967.

Quick question. are we allowed to touch the Advanced Trim Settings? I need to in order to compensate for a body’s slightly absurd lack of proper fender widening. So, IOW just for the wheels, their offset, and width.

Well, I’m taking silence as consent on the topic of Advanced Trim, so here we go.

The "original" Contester

This was one of my first Automation cars, and deserves a full remake with all the details, but for now this will do.

Proposed Villain

This is the “villain” car. It breaks the rules because this guy doesn’t play fair. Sporting twin turbos on the 5.6L and pushing 666HP, this is the Cthulhu upgrade offered in the underground

Proposed Hero

The hero drives a 2002 Contester Five-Six. 435 HP, seats 4 adults, plenty of room for camera gear, etc.

The interior is the same, presumably, but if some differentiation is required, the Alcantara inserts could be swapped for dark blue.

Edit, JIC Advanced Edit is NOT allowed, I built a more sane vehicle to use.

The normal one

Also, ET of the engine was not limited, right? I did not see one. My engine isn’t nuts but it also isn’t 120 ET.

Thanks,

Considering I forgor about both engine ET and advanced trim settings, go wild (within reason, I don’t wanna see stupid sized wheels).

Someone post that if it isn’t in the rules image stat.

2003 Globus Phoenix Dominator

Globus unveiled a new muscle car - since 1982 the Phoenix - and remembered the brand’s heritage: The most powerful car was the Dominator, built from 1969 to 1973 (oil crisis and emission rules killed it).

The new Phoenix Dominator comes with a 5.7 V8, celebrating the old glory days - the 3rd generation Phoenix’ retro design clearly begged for it.

Car isn’t submitted yet as I want to give it a good interior (you know my obsession with those) and there is still plenty of time to do so.
Unfortunately, this Phoenix was one of the last new Globus to be introduced, as the brand was shut down in 2010 after the global economy crisis in 2008.
RIP Globus, 1963-2010.

That was actually faster than I expected because I cant’t do much other today due to my health (stil recovering from a stroke). And yes, the interior is also retro like the exterior.

Now I read that it’s Australia, so expect it to be RHD for the entry. I’ll stil wait because I don’t know if there is another update until deadline.

oh damn bro that sounds awful, hope you make a good recovery. Nice car too, taking the classic style very literally

Thanks for your wishes!
As it becomes worse today, I might go back to hospital, so I submitted my car now against my previous plans. What is done, is done. RHD conversion (including wipers) finished, so it’s now on the way to the host.
