True or False: Forum Game 2.0

False. Too much work.

TNP doesn’t like leather as a seating material.

True, too much work tbh for the same comfort as normal stuff now

TNP hates how leather rips

True, but leather is leather

TNP agrees with me, leather seats are almost always more comfortable than any cloth-type given the same model car.

False…case and point ford falcons from 03-16.

TNP has had to deal with centrelink before

False, the shop deals with anything more than an oil change

TNP knows that VW maintenance life

Tralse. I’ve helped my dad fix his Tiguan.

TNP knows how many miles (or kilometers) per gallon (or liter) they average.

10-16 for the Ford, 5-7 for the Jeep.

TNP does not believe in linear time.

False physics my friend

TNP is also sitting in 44 degree celsious heat ( its a quarter to six in the afternoon and tomorrows gonna be hotter)

False, I left that mid-january.

TNP is a Socialst.

I better field this one in case somebody gets triggered :joy:

I have relatively socialist beliefs. My primary economic motivation is greater equal opportunity to reduce wealth disparity which drives regressive populist politics (against the self-interest of those most susceptible to it). Therefore my long game interest is in the transition to a post-scarcity economy, which would most likely involve the abolition of growth-oriented market models. In English, you could say that I’m deeply critical of Capitalism as an end.

TNP feels the above is an affront to some part of their identity or lifestyle.

Not an affront by any means, sounds quite idyllic to be honest. But not what I’d want. In my ideal fantasty land where everything just works, we’d have a Socialist government running a Capatilist economy in a Constitutional Absolute Monarchy. That’s a little too hard to be possible however…

TNP likes centre ground politics

Yeeeeeahhhhh nah. At this juncture it’s a touchy business to subscribe to any particular ground. It implies you’re defined by a position before you are defined by policy, which is symptomatic of what led us to where we are now.

I like value-focused politics.

Also, about that Britannic Utopia you’ve just described… it’s like saying “I’d like all of the good bits of the present without any of the bad bits”, or, on other words, a land in which nobody is poor, everybody gets rich and God Save the Queen :joy: I’m quite sure there will be others who can point out in colourful terms what happens when you attempt to marry a Socialist government to a Capitalist economy… but one can dream.

I’m dangerously close to reviving that lurking thread about “heavy stuff”, but since this is purely me procrasturbating I think I ought to just shove a sock in it and get back to studying.

TNP is procrastinating.

True

TNP wants to move somewhere else in the future

I think so. A big city of some sorts.

TNP just had a wrap for lunch.

Yeah, let’s end it here before I start trying to actually defend my glorious and implausible utopia :joy: That said, [quote=“strop, post:1153, topic:19167”]
