Tralse. Alphanumeric, but not just plain numbers. Depending on era, it’s either the capacity in cc’s or in liters, followed by the type of engine, followed by cam type, followed by number of valves per cylinder, and then a modifier that mentions the type of materials.
So, for a common engine, it’d be Storm 5.3L V8 DC4 AC, or Storm 4600 V6 SC3 CBAH
Breaking that down, DC4 is DOHC 4-valves-per-cylinder. AC is All Cast. SC3 is SOHC 3-Valves Per-Cylinder. CBAH is Cast Block, Aluminum Heads.
Variant naming carries similar markings, but that’s a different story.

False, i kinda understand why. some European countries have 100% EV mandates by a certain year, and even some US states (such as my own) have their own ZEV mandates (for example, mine is 15% of all new cars are ZEV by 2035, though this deadline may be shortened)

@cpufreak101 well yeah I understand, for example Norway wants no fossil fueled vehicles by 2050 (ZERO!) so that is a market someone like Jaguar can tap into especially since they have experience building luxury vehicles. Every other household had a $75k Tesla Model S P60/P85+ so defs.
It’s also the fact that after Brexit Jaguar claims to be looking at losses, and being a company operating in a capitalist market they gotta do what they need to do to survive.
