What about the option to have twin spark ignition? There are several production motors that use this notably the Alfa twin spark, but there are also some Mercedes designs as well, and its common on Porsches. On the older engines it would require a new head model, but on the modern 4 valve and 5 valve DOHC engines they have a cover on the plugs so there would be no change except maybe a Twin Spark stamp.
Yeah, I don’t like the idea of making even more ignition leads for something that makes a fairly small difference to engine functionality, so probably not
Twin spark would be fantastic! as well as plug gapping and different types of plug - (iridium plugs reducing yearly maintenance cost)
