Tycoon Gameplay

What a fantastic game…can’t wait for further updates :slight_smile:

Just a few suggestions for the Tycoon aspect of the game…perhaps to be added later?

  • Advertising and Marketing - Use TV Adverts, Merchandise and Magazine Reviews to generate hype for your latest design - adjusting funding to suit requirements.

  • Auto Shows - See how your concept car fares and get feedback from the target audience or focus groups (“It needs more cup holders”) before putting it into production.

  • Motorsport Programmes - Like marketing can be used to generate interest for new vehicles. Fund an official works racing/rally/endurance team, adapt one of your existing engine designs to be eligible to compete (Super 2000 Scenario) and try to keep your car competitive in the chosen discipline. Decide on your teams strategy to showcase your car’s strong points; Sportiness, Reliability etc. More podiums = more cars sold :smile:

That’s all I can think of for now. I’ve got too much time on my hands… :blush:

Your first point will definitely be part of the tycoon mode but won’tl be added until a bit later in the tycoon mode development. R&D and finances come first after the main structure is implemented.

Your other two points are a bit out of scope for the game, but we will do our best to make the experience as immersive as possible with the limited resources at hand. :slight_smile:
