Ventura Automotive [Making New Company]

Or utility for that matter…
@VenturaBay not to shit on your work, but even with 100hp less, my Varg (regular model) beat your hatchback with a full interior and safety equipment.

Well you have an inherently superior layout though as do all MR supercars. For what it is, it is still very impressive.

I’m actually interested in the pricetag after the markups for this car.

1992 Ventura Astro Executive

Nicknamed The Worst Ventura Car Has Ever Produced. , Astro offers something common with Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera especially the platform. Basically , it’s re-designed and re-badge Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera but with included of luxury stuff thrown into it.

Seat heater , eletronic adjustable seat position and others. But the worst part of it , these luxury stuff wasn’t working properly. Many customers complained that the electronic seat position was not functioning properly and sames goes to seat heater. Other than the luxury stuffs , the material of the seats are not high quality enough to be qualified into executive cars as they can be torned easily and pretty rough as claimed by some customers.

And even worst , the engine. Always having issue of starting the engine and randomly automatically turned off the engine while driving Astro due to poor quality of vacuum tubes and fuel intake system. Later models were fixed these problems except the interiors and the electronic stuff.

In a nutshell, in mid '93 Ventura Automotives pulled off this car from the market due to how badly and poor the quality of this car is. Only 13,514 were produced and most of them didn’t survived sadly by sitting in a junkyard or used as a demolition derby.

Damn. So this is a purposefully bad car then? I like!

Also, you’ve got the styling spot on. It reflects its story perfectly.

1976 Ventura Pine.

2.5 V6

An American Car Sitting On British’s Finest Car.
A slogan for Ventura Pine.

It was an agreement between Leyland and Ventura Automotives to set up an experiment if the British’s compact selling point was good or not. Of course the car was modified to satisfy and made it more perfect for American’s road with bigger engine and more safety equipped into this car.

This car offered 2 models which is 2.5 V6 and van version of this. Equipped with the premium interior and optional power steering , it can be a quite comfy ride along the trip. Other than that , Pine also included seat heater as standard for every models.

And how was the sale? It was pretty good. Only 24,403 units were sold and some of them demand a successor for this car. But it was an experimental car , though. There’s no a true successor for this car , maybe they will.

Pine Van

Customers can ask at any Ventura’s dealership make their family compact into a work van with the same engine and same body design as the compact. The difference is the removal of the rear seats and a leaf spring at the rear suspension to haul many stuffs at the back of the van.

Drag Pak

2 years after the releasal of the Pine , some custom-made workshop made an legal drag car using this car. The V6 engine was removed and replace by a huge V8 engine in it and suprisingly , it fits.

Other than that , the rear seats were removed and the door panels were removed too to save some weight and a rollcage was equipped for a safety reasons. The rear tires were fitted with street legal drag tires by 235 mm and 165 mm at the front.

2003 Ventura Xenoblade

It’s like American version of Mazda Roadster or MX-5 except it’s heavier which is 1262kg rather than 1065 kg from Mazda MX-5 NB. Due to how the weight was added , it is because the car was added with some fine luxury finishing into it.

Xenoblade Tourer

Tourer model was added as customers can enjoy a relaxing trip with high-end entertainment and premium interior. The engine is the same as the other Xenoblade.

Are you going for a retro-modern look with the Xenoblade? 'Cos if so I like it!

You just need to rework that engine a little bit so that peak power isn’t at redline

Yep! Inspired by 60’s British roadsters.

The engine will blew up if i made it over 7k RPM.

1973 Ventura Mystique De-Luxe 6

Ventura Automotives stated that this car is a replacement of their popular car which is Astro but they scrapped it since Astro was their icon of this company. Sitting on the same platform as the Ventura Astro , it is just 2-door version of Ventura Astro except it was more focused into performance and luxuriness. There was 2 Mystique model offered which is De-Luxe 6 and De-Luxe 8.

De-Luxe 6 is like a base model of the Mystique but the premium interior consist a luxury 8-track radio which is a way of it’s time and an optional power steering.

Mystique De-Luxe 8

A more sportier than the De-Luxe 6 , Mystique can be considered as a luxury muscle car with power steering as optional and a nice brown leather interior for your pure comfortness. The engine was upgraded too from Inline 6 to big beefy V8 , more powerful than the Inline 6 model.

Another brilliant looking car! However, echoing Ram’s comments earlier, I think the power band is still a little too small. You might have to detune the engine and then adjust the red-line again.

Aside from that, great work! I’d love to see that Driavbility/Sportiness etc stats for the Mystique, and the comfort score as well. Got a feeling it does well in this category.

You don’t need to shift the redline itself, just try jiggling the cam and ignition timing around to move peak power a little back. My personal preference is to give about 500RPM of space, but that’s a tall order for this engine as it’s already setup this way

I’ll experiment some bit with the engine.

1986 Ventura RE-GT

It was a deal between Porsche and Ventura to made an American version of the famous 911 to show how good an American car manufacturer can do. Sure , America is famous by big beefy V8 muscle cars and most of them can’t turn but this car shows otherwise. RE-GT stands for Rear Engined Gran Tourer and it’s a premium 2-door sports coupe that truly defines 80’s sports cars.

The interior contains premium leather beige interior with optional futuristic digital gauges , 2 bucket sport and comfy seats and a removable hardtop. The car’s running on naturally aspirated 3.0 V6 and it’s unusual for a V6 engine sitting in Porsche body shell but Porsche was like “Eh , good enough.”

Albeit the 930’s top speed is 173 mph , RE-GT can reach up to 157 mph which is good for a 245 hp car. Perhaps the turbo model will be implemented if the turbo fits.

Looks like the kind of thing that would have competed with my Scarlet. Got the Porsche looks spot on there too!

This is a top-notch package but I fear the same issue has appeared again! Power at the redline! :anguished:

@ramthecowy

Crap , i didn’t noticed about that. Sorry bout that!
