CEO of Ventura Automotives kept thinking sending a full-size American car to Malaysia and finally , they did it. In 1987 , Marshall V6 Executive has landed on Malaysia. Ventura Marshall V6 Executive is exclusively for Malaysian market to test how good or bad sales of this car. Although Malaysian’s citizen doesn’t prefer oversize big cars due to small roads , some people are in demand of full-size American cars to experience the car without going to US.
Marshall V6 Executive shares the same platform as Chrysler K Body with no any type of changes with exceptional of smaller trunk and smaller hood. Inside , Marshall V6 Executive features a nice premium leather seats like other K Body cars with digital gauges.
Malaysian citizen can choose between a bench seat or bucket-seat but bench seat model is limited to 300 due to Malaysia’s safety regulation. Other than that , it handles like your traditional V6 FWD K Body cars.
The pinnacle of this car is this 2.0 V6 which is the smallest V6 engine ever fitted in a Chrysler K Body. Perfect for driving on small Malaysia’s windy and corner frenzy roads.

September 5 1989 - CEO of Ventura decided to open a car manufacturing factory at Pekan , Malaysia after the releasal of thelatest Marshall V6 Executive. As stated by the CEO , they could possibly build an full-size American-style car while having Asian car traits in it like big body with small engine. Also , some says there’s a new SUV coming out for Malaysian market only , sharing platform with Ventura Independence.

Ventura Damansara was shown at 1990 Detroit Auto Show. This SUV was sitting next to it’s brother , Ventura Independence on the booth where people can see the difference between Independence and Damansara. 2 trims were offered , V6 RWD and V8 Executive. V8 Executive is your ordinary V8 SUV like your typical American SUV with more premium looking and better ride. V6 RWD is your budget SUV where you can buy it in small amount of cash or reasonable price.

Well technically , there’s actually Lancer in Malaysia but the most sporty model offer is the Lancer GT.
No proper Lancer Evolution X , sadly. The common Lancer Evolution is VII , VIII and IX and they were imported some car dealership that’s not from Mitsubishi.
at least the car enthusiast culture is alive and well.
