well, good side is, an early 90s volvo 960 cost as little as a new ninja 250
G’day , guys! I’ve been back for a long time due to busy busy school work and here’s a quick car that i’ve designed.
2017 Ventura Impor V12
A legendary V12 station wagon is now back with it’s bigger and more powerful engine with keeping the Impor’s traditional which is V12 engine placement. The car is now luxurious and much more safety than the predecessor with it’s electronical aids like ABS , ECS , Lane Assist Systems and many more. The car also uses new technology which is wire steering where improving safety for computer controlled interventions.
Inside , the interior consist a Rolls-Royce level of leather with 8-speed Automatic in it for your pure comfortness. The interior also consist of Economy , Comfort and Sport to give you an exciting ride for this station wagon. The station wagon also features a Geared LSD at the front and rear and Active-Comfort springs to make your ride much more memorable and fun.
A superb vehicle, well done for squeezing that V12 into the front of that body!
It’s properly mental - huge power and plenty of cargo space, especially in wagon form. Are any other body styles available for this car? Anyway, it’s tough to put a V12 in this particular body, whereas the not-A7 body from @Corvette6317 can accommodate a larger V12 with room to spare.
Well , the not-A7 body only comes in sedan form and i wanted to make a V12 station wagon.
About the body styles , there’s sedan , coupe , convertible and this station wagon. You know it’s in the vanilla game right?
Economy needs some work man. I know you can at least get that efficiency down to .6 with more compression or leaner mix even on regular 91 AKI fuel.
Great rival for my new V12 Hadron though. Upmarket sedans/wagons are getting kinda sparse these days.
@Deskyx Well , i wasn’t paying any attention while making this engine , so yeah
1967 Steven Ventura Hyperion Sedan 3500
Before Ventura Automotives was borned , the founder of Ventura Automotives named Steven Ventura built his first car properly named Hyperion 3500. Hyperion is based on Fiat 124 chassis where he bought it at Italy. When he brought it to U.S , he wasn’t satisfied with a slow sedan. So , he came up an idea where he put a small block V8 and then viola! Hyperion was borned.
While the rear-end and front-end has changed , everything on Hyperion is just Fiat 124 stuff. Nothing changed. He produced this car in his garage in Tennessee , U.S. He only produced 3 of them , making a very very rare car. What’s so special about this car that he send of this car to a magazine called Road & Track. He was expecting that company won’t accept the car but they did! Skipping a couple days ahead , the review of Hyperion came out and this is the result :
And he was excited about the result! He thought putting a small block V8 on a Fiat 124 chassis is a bad idea but it’s the opposite. Road & Track gave it a thumbs up for this indie car maker for a genuine car ride. A couple days after the review came out , the offer from Dodge company just sent him a letter that he’s hiring Steven as their designer. Well , he did agreed on it as he’s hoping to be a legendary car designer. Years and years working at the Dodge , designing their cars , he decided to open his own car company and thus born the company of Ventura that we know today. Only 1 of the Hyperion were survived and the other 2 is gone and got crushed.
It looks like a puppy car And that engine is being choked by the rev limiter.
@Sillyworld Blame that the engine can’t take over than 5000 RPM due to low quality material that he used
2016 Ventura Hyperion Mach 2
It’s been almost 50 year since the pre-Ventura car have been made and that is Hyperion 3500. The pictures of the car were scattered in the internet because the speciality of the car and how unique it is than other American cars. Sure , it is just Fiat 142 all over but putting a small block V8 in it , making it a special car.
The year is 2016 , Detroit Auto Show was held every year to showcase every car that they have made from every car brand across the land of freedom. Meanwhile at the Ventura Automotives booth , something’s interesting that caught many people’s eye. People gathered around the car to see how does it look. Camera’s everywhere and flashes upon the car and it was a legendary Steven Ventura Hyperion 3500. It was in a clean pristine condition , every parts was there and everything’s good but what’s more interesting is a new little brother was borned. It was called Hyperion Mach 2.
Hyperion Mach 2 still have small block V8 in it on a fairly mid-size sedan , competing with other sports sedan like Cadillac CTS-V , Lexus IS 350 F and other interesting sport sedan. It was no longer a budget pony car but it became a true muscle car thanks to the engine. Funny enough , many people called the old Hyperion is a puppy car due to those big headlights and the traditional of being a cute puppy to an angry puppy was applied at Hyperion Mach 2 with the angry front-end.
Inside , the interior is just a Standard interior with standard radio to keep the car lightweight and various options were available for the customers for their pure comfort.
Road & Track did reviewed this car and gave it a thumbs up and a throwback of the original review of the Hyperion 3500 was included in the magazine to make a comparision between 3500 and Mach 2.
That is some low HP for today.
Consider ramping up the quality in top end over bottom end? MOHVs can quality spam without alot of production unit increase.
Maybe some more aggressive cam timing?
First of all, bump compression a bit, as this engine doesn’t use fuel octane fully - that should both add some power and lower the fuel consumption. But the styling of the car is good
@Deskyx Hah , never knew that. Thought the production unit will increase if you increase the quality. Thanks for the tips!
@szafirowy01 Welp , i’ve bump my compression up to it’s limit and can’t get higher than that and again , thanks for the tips.
Oh production units will rise, just to a much much lower extent than a DOHC set up. You can get away with plus 9 without going above 100 if you go easy on the bottom end.
OHV or bust when it comes to V8s
2012 Ventura Ferocity.
It’s been a while since we heard an affordable SUV that has good off-road capability like legendary Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 , old Jeep and others. Ventura Automotives stepped in to the off-road SUV territory and this SUV was borned named Ferocity. This SUV only came in concept version as they were still in developing Ferocity for much more off-road capability and good comfort on the ride. Ferocity came in 3.5 turbocharged V6 or 2.5 turbocharged inline 6 but the model were only shown 3.5 V6 only as 2.5 turbocharged inline 6 was still in development.
Inside , there was consist of 7-seater which was spacious and comfortable. The rear seats can be folded down to put your hiking packs and other various things and same things went to middle row seat , they can be folded. Ferocity can be driven RWD , 4WD or 4x4 by pushing a button on the driver’s console and the drivetrain that you were currently using was shown between rev-meter and speedometer.
V6 AWD
Normal SUV also was shown next to off-road going Ferocity. It was your daily driver SUV and smaller engine for much more smoother and quiet ride. Everything else , it’s just your typical SUV so nothing special and the CEO stated that this SUV will be on the road in late 2013.
Excellent headlight design on the Ferocity. Original and unique.
Newsflash
August 24 , 2016 - CEO of Ventura Automotives , James Ventura went to Malaysia to check out on this car company which is Perodua where they only focusing into small , economical kei-styled cars. Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh , the president of Perodua gave a tour to James Ventura around the factory and he was suprised how efficient and good-quality build cars in this factory. Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh also gave a gift to James Ventura their brand new car which is Perodua Bezza , just recently released for public at the time.
After a nice tour of the factory , James Ventura had an idea to make a small economical cars for the American market but he worried that a lot of people won’t buy the car despite a small cabin space and how slow it is. He also stated that he wanted to buy Perodua company and help Ventura Automotives to build a small economical cars like Perodua did but faster and eco at the same time.
A picture of Perodua Bezza which is recently launched in Malaysia. Maybe , Ventura re-badged this car for American market. Who knows right?
That thing will never meet US safety standards without expensive reengineering.
