I agree. It may be better to develop a new vehicle from scratch, and design it to be compliant with safety standards in all major markets.
That would be even more expensive.
I drove Proton’s before and they are pretty decent if you are on a tight budget , not sure about Perodua but i guess they are around the same.
Calm down , guys. I won’t like literally take that car and re-badged that car , Perodua will help build the engine not giving the whole car to Ventura Automotives
2017 Ventura Olympian AeroEco
In the late 2016 , Ventura Automotives was shown this compact at the their HQ’s showroom with the help of Perodua which was making the engine. At the time , the engine was not done yet but it was rendered in 3D at the screen to take a sneak peek of the brand new engine. It was not ready to released to the public yet as the engine was still in development.
Inside , the car featured a premium interior with a nice quality faux leather , a 12-inch touch-screen and cup holders , of course! The car also have 4 seater to save weight but the customers can order 5-seater if they wanted. And the safety , it’s all there. You’ve got ABS , TCS and other safety things including Lane Assist System which is commonly found in the luxury cars but this premium compact got it. The stats of this car was approximately the final stats when the production version was unleashed to the public. Albeit the production cost is too high , they’ll find the way to lower the cost of it.
Also , Perodua Bezza was sitting next to Olympian as it was a gift from the president of Perodua. Also , it was the first Perodua car to stepped onto land of U.S and many people was attracted to this car as it was small than average cars on the road.
Holy shit an OHV I4 in modern times.
Why not? Is it stupid idea to put OHV in these kind of days?
Yes and no. Usually yes, but you’ve made it work very well so no.
And low production units too. More people should try it.
I would say go for it lower weight not that much friction and great economy when done right… not all cars need to rev past 6500RPM
I’ll try.
Overhead-valve fours should be obsolete by now, but this car proves otherwise. The advantages of this design (low cost, high reliability) outweigh the disadvantages enough for one of my companies (Albury Motors) to use this valvetrain for every V8 engine it has produced.
Must you always use every excuse you can to plug you companies and all the stuff you have built?!
Bud don’t bother anymore. Guy clearly isn’t listening.
@abg7 It’s one thing to have lots of pride in your cars, but you don’t have to constantly remind people that they exist. Wow them. Make stuff that impresses people. Don’t go about telling folks your cars are better or how your cars do this and that, you’re just going to annoy most people.
Another Newsflash.
A pretty surprise story from Perodua that they canceled the deal with Ventura Automotives due to how expensive to export engine with taxes and other various things. Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh , the president of Perodua stated “Making the engine isn’t that expensive but when it comes to export things , things can get a bit of rough.” Ventura Automotives was dissapointed that they canceled the deal but that don’t stop 'em.
They are planning an economical V6 engine and scrapping Olympian AeroEco for scraps of metals to the local junkyard. Their next car could be an economical V6 sedan or V6 eco van. Who would’ve guessed?
2016 Ventura Zendle AeroEco Concept
After the failure of the Olympian AeroEco with the Perodua controversal , Ventura didn’t stopped there. Although they were looking for an economical V6 engine which is rare but there’s this one company where they stepped into the Ventura’s territory which is @szafirowy01 , the owner of the Zavir Automobili (Zavir Automobili’s site) gave them an engine to Ventura and it did met what Ventura needed , an economical V6. Ventura Automotives were so happy about it and directly put them into this eco V6 van named Zendle.
What’s so special about Zendle AeroEco? Well , it got unique front-end , an aero kit of course. Zendle is standing on ladder-frame made out of galvanized steel which is inspired by the 60’s or 70’s van. Other than that , solid rear axle leaf spring to maintain that heavy load at the back of the van. Inside , consist of 9 seater made out of faux leather and seat heater was in every seat in the van and you can remove the heater if you wanted too.
Besides , the interior wasn’t that flashy. There’s high-quality plastics everywhere in the van like current-day cars and 15-inch screen at the dashboard. Some chrome-trim in the interior and foldable seats at the 1st and 2nd rear row.
And what else? It’s the first van that were built by Ventura Automotives.
2001 Ventura Formula Speed 4
Many car manufacturers use powerful type of engine block like V8 , V10 and V12 but Ventura Automotives has build something weird and unusual for a supercar. What’s this? 4.0 Inline 4 in a supercar? They are nuts! But in a good way. This car popped up in a suprise way to the crowds in 2001 Detroit Auto Show and another suprise at 2002 Auto Geneva Show. They were amazed and suprised that Formula Speed 4 has 4.0 Inline 4 as it’s heart even critic was astonished.
What’s more suprised that this is the first car to reach 200 mph using non-turbocharged Inline 4 and it made into 2002 Guiness World Record. As this car was so super fast , the unit were built 300 units only for the hardtop and 150 units for convertible.
This car was standing on AHS Steel spaceframe to keep it lightweight and standard race-inspired interior with no radio in it. Just don’t expect any types of luxury in this car as it was purposed to be fast and lightweight but you can have radio as optional features.
That’s quite a big four-banger! Its even bigger than the 2500cc of the Porsche 944. I’m curious how would a 4000c I4 sound in real life.
Congratulations, you just beat the record of biggest inline 4 fitted in production car (in real life the record is hold by Porsche 968, 3.0 L I4, so)
Newsflash.
There’s a rumour that they will bring their iconic muscle car which is Whisper. It’s been a while since we last heard Whisper. It will be like a premium muscle car like the first generation Whisper with some influence of the first Whisper design on to the latest Whisper. James Ventura , CEO Of Ventura Automotives stated that they will make V6 and V8 version of Whisper and possibly V12 version if they can get help from Lamborghini. The car will be revealed at 2017 Detroit Auto Show with evolution of every Whisper has been ever produced from Ventura’s factory.
I could tell you how a 4.5 liter four banger sounds.
