Thanks for the update!

What are the main things left to do before a release is possible?

I think you guys are torturing us :frowning:

Any estimated demo release date?

@JVIaarten: The main things to do are 1) bug killing, 2) polishing the UI, 3) add scenarios, 4) test the complete package
@1701adguru: Yes, the devs just do this to torture you specifically ;D My ETA for the demo is ~1 Month at the current pace. (Devs: when it’s done)

Its looking really good. I love the fine tuning of the mixture and ignition timing i could have loads of fun tweaking those. Is there any chance of varible valve timing on the cams ?

@krussel: VVT is in already and functional

VVT and VVL is in the game but you can’t fit them on 20 valved engines

Fantastic stufff :astonished:

I must say that Ive been impressed with the rate of development. Even if the demo doesnt come out in a month, or even the next quarter, for a couple guys in a flat on your spare time youve done very very well imo.

It just keeps getting better
Do you plan on adding values to all sliders? Noticed they are visible for Compression and Cam Profile, but not for Fuel Mixture and Ignition Timing. It sure would have been nice to have a number for reference when fine-tuning

Awesome!
Super excited!

@Zatotm: I will do my very best to force the devs to do that… sliders without obvious meaning are a double no-go, one for it being a slider and one for being arbitrary hehe.

Mmmm… good call on that one, i’ll talk to Zeussy but I agree that they should have a number so you can replicate the same tune

Thanks, good to see you agree

awesome  i like the ignition sound, blowing sound in the end, fuel type everything.this video is the best i’ve ever seen in this site. It’s getting better and better everyday and this makes me patient

I asked for the same thing in the car designer, especially with the tyres and rims size. I am glad this has been brought back up again.

Please try to include relevant values to as many of the sliders as you can… Not having a value really detracts from the realism you guys are trying to create.

On a brighter note the work you have been doing the past few weeks is great and giving everyone the opportunity to watch and chat to you on live stream is brilliant.

For the tyres and rims size, it’s already implemented

I just love checking for updates on here and watching the game develop. To work full time jobs and find the time to create this game is an amazing. :astonished:

I am in no real rush to play the game when i can watch its development day by day.

It just keeps getting more realistic

I’m excited that we will have to deal with different fuels in different countries, as well as the historical changes like the phasing out of leaded gasoline. My Dad was a chemical engineer who formulated gasoline. I remember just how big of a deal the 1990 Clean Air Amendments where to him.
